I had the experience with someone very close to me who blew their nose. They didn't wash their hands and they were getting ready to prepare a meal. I politely reminded them. They swore up and down they washed their hands and they got real angry with me and hurt my feelings. I was watching the whole time plus his person was drinking alcohol. I am not a germaphobic, but I work in the healthcare field and I wash my hands a lot.

I used to work at a restaurant which had a fancy Sunday breakfast buffet and I was amazed at the women who I would see in the restroom fail to wash their hands and then go straight back out to the buffet - disgusting. I had a conversation with a lady I worked with once and her answer was that she used germ stuff when she got back to her desk and I'm like yea but how much stuff between here and there are you going to touch?

why we need to remind people but you think they know. I had total knee replacement and the
nurse was getting ready to take my dressing off. i said you need wash your hands she did but o mg she in medical field think they know.

I would not eat that meal! I'm sorry that is disgusting. Even if your hygiene is bad, be gross on your own time. If you're preparing food for other people, have the courtesy to wash your hands.

It is good to wash your hands before preparing a meal. I wouldn't eat it because I don't know where those hands have been. Even if all the person does is blow their nose, hopefully he or she didn't blow the snot or booger into his or her hands. Another person can get sick as a result. ??? ??? ??? :bad: :rose: :rainbow:

I really hate it when someone cant take a couple of mins to wash their hands I have sanitizer sittin in just about every room just in case

Ideally people should wash their hands before and after meal. The worst part is not washing their hands after using bathroom. I think we need to teach them first lesson is to washing their hands frequently.

So nasty. I hope you didn't eat the food he was cooking. The bad think is, is that we never know what other people touched before they shake our hands or even fix our foods. I try to keep hand sanitizer in my purse.

I have witnessed a few individuals ( men) from my job who did not wash their hands after using the bathroom. :bad:

I wash my hands so regularly at home that I have made my hands dry and sore many times. I then slather on moisturizer to help heal the dry skin. Not quite a not-washing-hands story, but the other day I was at a popular buffet which was absolutely packed. Now I have two sons of my own (7 and 10) and I make them go wash their hands before unleashing themselves on the buffet. However I saw two little girls helping themselves to the buffet, there mum was sat back at the table eating and had let them go to the buffet by themselves. They can have only been 4 or 5. When one of the little girls was struggling to use the serving spoon, she stuck her hands into the potato mash food container to help herself. Then all I could think was, I'm not having mash today! Who would not go to the buffet table and help their children at that age?

:notworthy:Do these people think that they well never get sick ? Maybe they need to take a field to the doctors, like when they were little. A doctor telling them again well remind them.

well is not very insanitary and not to healthy either
