Title: What coffee maker brand do you own?

My parents were big coffee drinkers and their favorite coffee makers was from cuisenart SP ? :rose: :rainbow: :peace: :wave:

Post by: squirrelgirl44 on May 06, 2014, 11:28:16 am: I have a Keurig. I got it for Christmas in 2012, and I love it. I get to pick different brews of coffee and I never feel like I am wasting coffee or it going stale.

Post by: 6265AT99 on May 06, 2014, 12:21:42 pm: My coffee maker is a BUNN Thermo Fresh. I have owned it for years and it makes perfect coffee every time. The thermo carafe keeps my coffee hot for a minimum of 2 hrs. and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys coffee!!!

but since my hubby and I drink a pot of coffee a day between the both of us, it just doesn't seem
to be cost effective to purchase a single serve coffee maker! We grind our coffee beans every morning
we stick with the Bunn brand, because the first one lasted over 19 years, and the coffee tastes great thru it!

Mr coffee is alright except for the fact my father drinks coffee early in the morning and then we usually have to waste a pot to get fresh coffee... Areopress is good, but over the months I started to taste a plastic kind of taste in my coffee... I thought it was burning through the plastic plunger or something... Now I have a keurig machine and I absolutely love it.... Always make good cup of coffee and the k cups are cheap compared to buying it in dunkin donuts or starbucks.... The thing I don't like is that k-cups are not recyclable... RIP earth =(

Post by: cathy37 on May 08, 2014, 04:47:57 pm: I have a Gevalia that I got free when I ordered their coffee or tea. It is great. You can set it to brew before you wake up and the coffee is ready when you get up.

I still have the thirty five dollar Walmart Special espresso machine from then. My wife bought a Saeco. Five hundred dollars worth and it seems to break down every third week...and then old faithful gets pulled in. The Saeco is nice and kind of cool. It has a seven day water reserve, grinds the beans into a perfectly portioned cup, and has a nice steaming wand. But all of those niceties give way to a break down every third week. We still splurge on a Starbucks every other month and only if we have gotten a groupon discount!
