What stores do you go to to shop for groceries?
-
Walmart is the only convenient for me they have every thing in one stop.
-
I shop in four different stores because they have what I want. Dollar General, Schnucks, Save a Lot and of course Walmart. I am very set in my ways as to what I buy and each one of them has those items.
-
I love Fresh N' Easy - I hope they never go away! Second would be Super Walmart and Ralphs grocery store. I've been turned on to the 99 cent store - they surprisingly (to me anyway), have fresh produce. More and more I'm getting my fresh produce there.

What stores do you go to to shop for groceries?
Sometimes I shop little from each store like Publix, BI-LO and walmart. But mostly my hubby shop at Sam Club.
-
I shop at a SuperValu store which is just 3 miles from me. To go to Kroger's I would have to make a 25 mile round trip so anything I might save would go into gasoline. Besides many times the SuperValu has things for less money than Kroger's. I also like it because it isn't as huge and I know where things are.
-
I buy most of our staples at Walmart but my husband likes to go to our local grocer every day to decide and buy what meat and sides we'll have for supper each night.
-
What stores do you go to to shop for groceries?
I shop at wholefood and harris teeter and sometimes food shoppers and safeway.
-
I love to go to BiLo! They have double coupons and the fuel perks! Saves me and hubby a small fortune at the fuel pumps! ;)
-
Walmart or super one or Winn-Dixie
-
krogers walmart valumart
-
I shop at Ingles and Walmart.
-
I shop at Giant. They have good prices, double coupons, and a gas station off to the side of the store. Every time you use your bonus card and spend $100 you get 10 cents off a gallon of their gas. We usually wait until we have 40 or 50 cents then fill up the tank. This weekend for Memorial Day if you spend $50 you get an extra 300 points or 30 cents off. A good way to save and every penny counts!
-
Walmart, King Soopers, and Safeway. Have to split it up between 3 stores because one store doesn't haven't everything. I hate the Walmart that's by me. They built backwards and they don't have a lot of everything that they should.
-
FOOD LION
-
I usually go to Giant food stores.
-
I prefer to do most of my shopping at Publix. But sometimes I go to Whole Foods or Sam's Club if the deals are good enough.
-
mostly walmart and meijer they are by my college the cheapest have lots of options way cheaper then others and are 24 hours!! So they are the best option!!
-
I buy most of my groceries at HEB.
Other household items, including some groceries from the number one store :in-love: Wal-mart!
I think must of us love Wal-mart.
-
We do the majority of our grocery shopping in our hometown....a locally owned grocery store called Glen's Food Center.
The prices are a bit higher than the Walmart and Hyvee stores in the bigger towns, but I appreciate the convenience of the hometown store.
-
I basically live in Walmart! lol...although it's not a super walmart, I do my basic shopping there and then meats I go to the supermarket like Pathmark or Shoprite.
-
I go to Save A Lot and Walmart mostly. If Winn Dixie and Rowes have a good sale I'll go there too.
-
We usually shop at either Walmart or Brookshire's.
-
Walmart and Winco and the 99 cent stores. I did have a meat-man that dropped meat to my door, was nice.
-
I usually shop for groceries at food4less or any mexican groceries stores.
-
Target, King Soopers and Sprouts. All three are within a block of each other, so it is convenient.
-
My husband and I usually shop at Krogers and Publix and Food Depot.
-
Discount Supermakets/Retailers and 99 cents/ dollar stores.
-
We do some shopping at the local grocery store. But we also get on the deals at Costco and Sam's.
-
I shop at three different stores. Some things are cheaper at Walmart, but the other stores have a membership program. I can earn points and get discounts on food and gas.
-
Most of ours is done at Kroger, coupon things at Publix and than Wal-Mart.
-
Most often (like 98% of the time) I shop at one of the two groceries here in town. It is about an hour to the nearest Walmart or big store and with the price of gas, I just can't justify going that far for groceries. I have gotten used to the limited selection but I do mail order from walmart when I need specialties non perishable items. I do buy all my cleaning and paper product from Family Dollar. OUr town has only about 2,000 people so not a lot of choices.....but then there is no traffic either.
-
I shop at Costco a lot the only place that I believe I can get everything I want on my shopping list. Safeway is just a distant second if I am tired and don't want to travel to far to Costco. It is hard to go there during weekends because it's hard to find a parking space closer to the store.
-
Nowhere. I don't have an income, therefore no money to shop. Yes, that means I don't always get to eat. Or, we have to go even further into to debt by using credit cards just to get the cheapest essentials and cheapest 'foods' (which means it's unhealthy garbage that our bodies barely get any nutrition, if any, out of) but when the card is used, I'm not the one who goes to the store.
-
wallmart and foodlion
-
I shop wherever the deals are. I go on a major shopping trip once a month. Every day building up to that date, I look for coupons and then the week of my shopping date I put together a list and plan my trip. Depending on what we need for the month, will depend on how many store I go to. But I typically shop at Albertsons, Publix, Winn-dixie, Dollar general, Dollar Tree, Wal-mart, Sam's Club, and GFS.
-
My favorite store to go grocery shopping is Walmart. I love going there because it's a one stop shopping place. I shop for cleaning supplies and pet supplies and things for the car and lastly I can shop for food. I don't have to run all over to different stores and wasting my time driving around a packed town, so I love Walmart and you can find them almost everywhere!
-
My husband is retired military, and every time we are close to a military base we stock up on everything! We come home with a packed car. The prices are better and the military has the best fresh produce I've ever seen anywhere. Their meats are also the best tasting! I just wish we lived a little closer to a base so that I could run to the commissary when I run out of ingredients! When we can't get to a base we divide our time between Kroger and Walmart.
-
I shop at Kroger and Aldis. I like the online coupons available through the Kroger website. You can load coupons on to your Kroger plus card and get tons of savings. Plus they offer a free friday download that I take advantage of. Every friday they offer a new free product you can load to your card. I also use my shoppers card to save points towards money off gas.
-
I use to go to Vietnamese store at my house. But sometime went to Foodland or Walmart sometime when and whatever is cheap.
-
i usally shop at aldi, walmart, dollar store it depends on what i need.
-
Is this a survey, lol. I usually shop at Costco, CVS, Family Dollar or my neighborhood supermarkets depending on sales.
-
I purchase the majority of my groceries at Kroger.
-
I shop at different stores and where ever I get the best deals, but I shop mostly at Publix and Kroger.
-
We go to Kroger mostly, and walmart sometimes.
-
What stores do you go to to shop for groceries?
I get some of my best bargains at Walmart. I do some shopping at Kroger and Publix. The best produce comes from farmers vegggie stands. I have had the sweetest strawberries this year from a local farmer. They are expensive, but I justify it for the taste. I am cutting out the middleman by buying direct. Buy locally grown and keep our farmers working!

I buy from Walmart and the distribution center in town and the farmers market. I have to drive 80 miles one way to Walmart. But it is worth it as I also have other things to get. Our dinky grocery store is so expansive and the produce sucks.
-
It's really funny seeing all the different grocery chains. I usually go to Acme or Giant, but if I'm in Vermont, I go to Hannaford's. Trader Joe's has some fancy stuff and isn't outrageously priced like Whole Foods, so occasionally I'll go there too.
-
I buy all my groceries at HEB and Walmart Supercenter. I like to comparison shop and look for the best deals on products between the two stores.
-
What stores do you go to to shop for groceries?
i shop for food at walmart
-
Jewel and Target.
-
I do most of my grocery shopping between Walmart and Costco. I mostly shop at Walmart because of the convenience, but sometimes I will go to Albertsons or Smiths if there are good deals.
-
I shop at Publix, Wal-Mart, Aldi and Sam's club. I buy certain items at each store but never go to more than two stores in one week.
-
I go to the 99 cent store first, they amaze me sometimes at the things they have. The fresh produce lately has bee great and really saves me money.
-
Walmart and aldi because they are close and convenient
-
Publix but mostly Walmart cuz it's open 24/7!
-
There are only a few that I shop at. Walmart, Kroger or Meijer. They have great sales- and with Kroger you earn fuel points for money you spend. Win-win if you ask me!
-
I like to shop between Giant Eagle and Walmart Supercenter. Occasionally, I'll go to Whole Foods for some of their produce. I don't like Walmart's produce (except for bananas), but I'll shop in their other food departments.
-
My family usually shops at Wal-Mart or the commissary for groceries.
-
Walmart is the only convenient for me they have every thing in one stop.
I agree! Wal-Mart has basically everything you need!
-
FOOD LION
The Food Lion near my house is nice!
-
We go to Kroger. Not the best, but it's alright.
-
I Go To Aldi But They Are Putting A Kroger In. Also The Locals And Walmart
-
For the most part I shop at Publix supermarket. I do buy some things at the local super walmart as well. I was shopping at Winn Dixie for awhile but it is not a very clean store and I don't like the selection as good as that at the local Publix Supermarket.
-
I shop at walmart. prices are great
-
Walmart, they have cheaper price for the same brand and size.
I have some closer store, but more expensive.
-
Publix for meat and freshest local produce, Kroger for most other things, and club stores for bulk things. I have also been known to pick up some grocery items in a Walmart Super Store if I am there already.
-
Walmart and any other stores with specials and low prices!
-
I mostly go to Walmart. Then there is Costco and Publix
-
I usually go to Walmart because it is the cheapest. We only have one other real grocery store and a couple of knock off places in my town. And they are all way more expensive than Walmart. But I am about over the smart @ss attitudes of Walmart employees. I think I may start sending a list with somebody else and let them shop for me. lol
-
Kroger, Walmart and Meijer.
-
Basically all available within 25 miles walmart and Ingles.
-
Most major stores are near me. Ralphs, Albertsons, Stater Bros, Fresh n Easy. Unfortunately Walmart is closest and I tend to shop there. Sadly, they put an independent grocer out of business.
-
Usually Walmart - and sometimes Publix. I also go to Winn Dixie to qualify for gas discounts.
-
I shop at vons
-
I shop for groceries at a few diferrent stores depending on what i need or how much I need, I would say that I do most of my shopping at WalMart Super store
-
I usually shop Walmart because it is the closest to me, but I also shop Aldi and Publix.
-
Usually to my local Frys' Supermarket cause it's right on my corner.
-
I like going to Safeway and Costco. They have pretty good prices (and I can use coupons at Safeway!). I also go to Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens too. I go there more for supplies and snacks though.
-
Mostly I shop at walmart and sometimes at United Super for the meats.
-
Foodlion. Dollar general. Dollartree. Walmart is not a convenient location for me.
-
Wal-Mart or Publix. :D
-
I always check the sales ads first .. I have a list of what I need .. then see what is on sale .. I make a second list by store with the sale items .. then I head out to Walmart first .. lots of times their price is even better than the sale.
-
Mostly at 2 grocery stores close to my house but I check flyers often for good deals.
-
Most of the time I shop at Food Lion because it is down the street from where I live. Other times I shop at Wal-Mart, but this is not my favorite place.
-
I shop at Super Target, Albertson's, Sprouts and the Military Commissary. Sprouts is the best for produce, Commissary for meats, Target for sales and Albertson's when I just need one or two things. I live like 3 minutes from Albertson's. It's nice, but they do tend to be more expensive.
-
I shop in the dollar store then go to Foodmax for the rest.
-
Walmart or super one
-
Walmart. Its the only cheap grocery store where I live. If I have the gas, I'll shop out of town at Cash wise.
-
I shop for groceries at the local super market Best Yet.
-
I have shopped online for groceries it was exciting.
-
i like to shop at Safeway/vons for my groceries. They have digital coupon and all most everyweeks there free things for me from bevarages to detergent. Last week i got 32 oz of oxiclean and 60 oz bottle of tea for free, value 10$. that was nice.
-
I shop at a few places, Kroger, Walmart, and Costco
-
There are two stores that I go to regularly to shop for groceries. They are Pick'n Save and Aldi's.
-
BiLo, Publix, and sometimes Walmart since it's the closest if I run out of something and are making a quick trip
-
Walmart when I am up for it. Exhausting.
Winn dixie because I get fuel rewards, but their prices are higher.
-
Mostly Walmart, Woodmans, and Vallie Produce
-
I hit several places for groceries. I go to Costco for larger purchases like a months worth of steak, eggs, chicken and hamburger/two weeks worth of veggies, fruit and lettuce and several frozen items that will last for the month. I go to sprouts for protein powder and the week's fruit and vegetables. I go to King Soopers for more of the novelty items like ice cream, yogurt, and sandwich meat. I aim to keep my average grocery bill under two hundred dollars and have managed to do that for about a year. I only go shopping once a week. If I forget something it needs to wait until the following week.
-
Aldi's for the basics; then other paces for only their specials.
-
I usually buy my groceries at Food Lion. They are pretty reasonable priced around here. The Piggly Wiggly has
better meat prices but I don't like the people that work there. No customer service, and they are kinda rude, never even say hello when they check ya out. They just grab your stuff and start going. Sometimes I go to Love's Food.
-
I found a new store that charges you there cost than when you get up to the register they charge 10% of your purchases and this was the first time I shopped there and I spent all my food stamps there so I couldn't go anywhere else, But I usually shop at Aldis's, Town & Country and Wal-mart. I also use coupons when I shop as long as it is something I would use anyways.
-
Discount supermarket and retail stores is where I shop for groceries.
-
Any place but Walmart
-
C-town
Target
Rite aid
METs supermarket
Those are the main ones for me
