Gas took a big jump to $3.999 (never understood why they don't get rid of the last 9 in the price!) today in Northeastern KY. I don't know what caused that huge increase but it will definitely put a damper in my travels. How much is gas where you live? To beat it all, the Ashland Oil refinery where gasoline is refined is in our backyard (20+/- miles from my home) and our gas is usually the highest in the surrounding areas.
-
our gas is only 3.25 in the area where i live however i never pay that amount because our local grocery store (hyvee) offers an incentive to shop there by giving you a gas card where you can rack up cents off on your gas. at most i pay around 2 dollars for gas
-
We are thrilled that gas has dropped back down to $3.99. With all the refineries around here I don't know why it is always so much higher here. We have lousy public transportation, however it is improving a lot over the past 4 or 5 years. At one time in the 1920's and 1930's we had the start of a great system, but it was bought out and destroyed by several different gas companies. That's a legacy some city founding/council families are still regretting they were in on. It has never been able to catch back up to other big cities in this country. I also g to the grocery stores that will give you the incentives of cents off on your gasoline.

At the Quicktrip it's $3.55 a gallon, more expensive at other places.
-
Up to $3.999 in my area as well.
-
Ours went up from 3.40 to 3.60 in a month!
-
Where I live the gas nearly $5.00 already. It was 4.65 per gallon now. I think it's crazy, we'll get to 5 very soon.
-
$3.28 regular in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Today I put $50 in my truck. Hope gas goes down for the summer. I have a Taho and in order to save I have to stay at home. LOL!
-
I saw prices at 3.95 yesterday. Such a scam
-
Gas prices are way out of hand. Here regular is just about 4 dollars. a medium blend is well over 4 and the premium is almost at 5 dollars. We need free energy vehicles and we need them now.
-
Today they are at 3.79 non ethanol, It took an 30 cent jump a few weeks ago.
-
Ours just jumped from 3.41 to 3.59 this past week. Pretty steep hike in price if you ask me. I'm sure we'll hear some tale about some "disaster" as one of the processing plants or an issue with the pipeline to justify the hike.
-
I'm in Los Angeles and it's around $4.10/gallon. :(
-
Where I live gas hit $4.05 a gallon. I have no choice but to use premium because my car only uses premium.
-
Here in NY, its 3.75/gallon at the station i go to
-
The most expensive gas I've seen here is around $3.59
-
Well, we filled up today at our local Costo (where the gas is usually cheaper than anywhere else) and it was $3.40 a gallon, which is really much higher than we've paid for it in the past. If it's not $3.99 a gallon elsewhere, I'll bet it's pretty close.
-
I had to laugh when I saw $3.99. Yesterday I drove about 30 min away from my home. Gas was $4.09 ... I got closer to home and it was $3.85. This morning while at the same station it was only $3.75... a group of friends and family were stopped to fill up and pick up snacks. One family stayed behind and hollered out to the others... I did this last night so we wouldn't have to stop today. And the others shrugged there shoulders and said, $3. and 3 quarters... we're filling up here.
-
That's almost the price of gas where I live. I think the average that I've seen is between $3.75-$3.90. Yeah, it's really getting up there.
-
We are sitting at about Three dollars and thirty cents per gallon or, if we use a grocery membership card three dollars and twenty cents a gallon in Colorado. I am blessed with a small, newer Subaru that gets about thirty three miles to the gallon and my current daytime project is only four miles from my home. My full tank of gas takes about six weeks to empty. I also coast down hill in neutral (my car is a stick shift) and I go for as long as I can without using heat or air conditioning. I avoid stop and go traffic. To put it all together...the gas prices aren't really affecting me too much.
-
I actually got my gas for 3.64 today, only because I get .15 off per gallon at the Walmart gas stations when I use their credit card. Makes it worth having in my opinion.
-
It is $3.59 and I thought that was expensive.

Here in the Southwest is approximately $3.499. So I guess we're not doing too badly

-
Ouch, gas prices sure do hurt. One day they're going to be too expensive for the majority of us to pay. They're really pushing it too far. I wonder when exactly that will be. I have a feeling we'll see it happen in the next 10 years.
-
We were out Sunday after church and found the gas to be $3.31 9/10 a gallon. It is high and my hubby either fills up the tank or get 4 or 5 gallons to hold him over. ??? ??? ??? :rainbow: :rose:
