So sad to hear about his passing! I grew up listening to him when I was younger as my dad always had his station on! :(

I hadn't heard that, but new it was getting close.

I had heard that his daughter had been approved for not having Casey resuscitated. I am saddened to hear of his passing. I not only listened to his music, but I know his voice was used in the Scooby Doo series. RIP Casey Kasem. You will be missed. :male: :( :( :( :rose: :rainbow:

I used to listen to his announcing of the weekly Top 40 for years. He had a great radio voice. I also remember when I first realized he was one of the voice talent for Scooby Doo (after reading the credits). I hope his family is surrounded by loved ones to help with the grief of his passing.

Yes,Casey was a talented voice actor. He provided the voice of Robin the Boy Wonder back in the day and more famously as Shaggy in Scooby Doo's various series. As a big fan of Scooby when I was a kid,a big heartfelt thanks goes out to him.RIP Casey. :(

His death has been turned into a circus by his family.
I just read that his wife is going to bury him in Norway, for no reason other than to keep him away from his children. It's an odd situation.
