I have never looked on Craigslist for WAH jobs. I would be a little skeptical unless they are nationally or locally known and don't require money up front.

That's a great idea.  I would like to look now myself now that you suggested it.  Thanks for the post.

:) I am sure you can but you would probably do better by finding something on your own.  :)

What a wonderful thing you do, doggie day-care.  Maybe kitty day-care as well.  I think that's great.  I would most likely do the same thing you are but since I already have a boat load of pets, we don't have any room for guests.   :cat:  :cat:  :cat:  .........

I haven't looked in a while but  when I was looking for work outside the home, I used Craigslist very frequently. There were many work at home opportunitties , but  as other posters posters mentioned, you must do your research.

That sounds like a dream!!! I would love to do that if the house was more suitable and all my kitties were updated on their shots and everything. And, since I'm living with my father, he gave his approval, haha. Do you make a living on this alone? :)

Zenlife2000, you for sure can if you look frequently and are aware of what's a scam and what's legit. If it sounds too good to be true, for instance -- it is. You could get a writing job, if that interests you at all. There can be quite a bit of those, but you should look also outside of your immediate area --- like NYC, LA, D.C., etc., etc. Good luck!!! :)

I don't really trust some of the ad there. My friend was trying to put her service as a tutor there and she received a lot of scam emails which really annoy her. She has never been there again.

There are legit work at home jobs on CL, but with some you have to put money out. I have a friend that posts jobs on there but you have to put out serious money to get started and I don't have that drive to do such, even if it is a work at home job.

Although Craigs list is a good place to find bargain items. I don't know about finding work through there. Not unless you are selling yourself.

I've had some success advertising on Craigslist but have never found a WAH offer to take advantage of. What I do like about CL is all the advertising ideas you will find. CL keeps changing the posting rules and Real Estate agents have a more difficult posting home for sale ads.

there are some things that you can find on craigslist just be really careful as there are a ton of scams out there and remember you should never have to spend your hard earned money to make money.

You can find many types of jobs on Craigslist. I would advise and be careful with whom you decide to do business with. I know of a few people who have used Craigslist and came across rude people who try to scam others out of money.

You can find all kinds of jobs on CL but watch out for scammers, I applied for a warehouse job once and next thing you know I get a check for 3K and I am instructed to take my pay out for doing nothing in advance :o
Well I did NOTHING but reported it

I don't think it is a good idea.  I heard a lot of them are scam.  I have purchase my cell phone on Cragslist though, and don't have any problem but my friend are scam victim there.

I have a craigslist account. I never look for jobs in craigslist. It's a good thing you mention this. I'll take a look at it someday.

I'd question how legit they are.  I found my last three jobs on craigslist but they weren't work from home jobs.

You probably could but you might be better off putting yourself out there and try to offer a service you can do from your home and advertise yourself directly locally. It might pay off way better then actually finding a work at home program but most are scams that are out there

I was able to find a part-time job on Craigslist, so you might find a home job.

I would not knowingly apply for a job that was listed on Craigslist.  But I did reply about a job that was listed on Indeed.com and later found out the original post was on Craigslist.  As far as I know my identity has not been stolen and I did find info on the company online else where.  So, maybe the guy is just too cheap to list in a real place. lol

I didn't get a work from home job on CL, but the job I currently have I found there. I've been here for 2.5 years and my pay has increased by almost 10k/yr in that time :D

Yes. You should always take the time to do research and do not ever pay for a job.

There are many work at home forums that post jobs. You're better off going on those sites to find a job rather than going blindly on Craigslist.

I've been looking, actually. It's kind of hard though because you have to see if which company is legit and it's like finding a needle in a haystack.

I've never tied to find a work at home job on Craigs List. I think I would be afraid to do so because there have been a lot of scams and other scary things on Craigs List.

Craigslist draws legit people and scammers alike. You have to be careful and use good sense and caution to make sure you don't fall victim to a scammer.
