Hi ya'll.
I know it's early but I need some help.
I have my older sister for secret santa but I'm a little stuck on what to get because there is more than a 10 year gap between us.
Anyways here is a little description.
Married. 34yearsold. 4 kids. Lives a boring life LOL because she's a little more strict BUT she's clumsy and super nice. Very down to do things and try new things. ....
Not much of a description, but the hardest part is trying to think about what to get an adult... xD since I've barely become one myself.

I'm a little more older than she, but I am also boring and strict too. I really enjoy when my daughter or anybody gives me gift card to my favorite stores. to me when I give a gift. I found out what that person likes and their hobbies then I get them something that I know they would like from their hobbies ect... Hope this works. You can also try asking her husband what she likes or wants.

Gift card or a new craft to try.

Have you had a special family reunion any time recently?
It is rare that my two sisters and brother are all together.
We had a family reunion last week.
I got the idea to have a photo of the four of us on the beach matted and framed and sent to each of them.
I know it will be a treasure for me to have on the wall of my apartment.
Maybe this gives you some ideas.

You can never go wrong with a gift certificate. People can then get something they enjoy. I think they're a great idea.

maybe a gift certificate for a spa day, or even just for a massage....with that many kids i'm sure she could use it!
-
I was going to say the same thing as natashaspy :)
Sounds like it wouldnt be something she would buy for herself
Or if thats too expensive, how about a gift certificate to get her hair and nails done

I agree with a gift certificate/ gift card to get hair/nails done.
I'm thinking with 4 kids, if you get her a gift card no doubt she'll use it for something for the kids, because that's how it works when you get old & boring ;)

I was thinking the same things as everyone else...gift card or certificate.....hope she loves whatever you decide....

Being as it is your sister it should be easy. What does she like? DVDs? CDs? You should know what kind of clothes she likes?
You could do a basket you make yourself. Maybe a theme. They have a ton of bath stuff at Bath and Body works. You could get lotions, soaps, candles, and candy and it all the same theme. Maybe throw in a gift card for some where to eat. And a coupon for free baby sitting.

You have a good heart, and I understand the sentiment. Your sister sounds like a great big sister, and I would do one of two things to make her Christmas special: Get her a gift card, or treat her to a special day. Hope it helps.   :rainbow: :present: :rose:

I agree with some of the other responses. A gift card for a day of beauty or a spa day. I know that if I get a gift card from somewhere like Wal-Mart, I would use it for something other than a gift just for me.

How about some nice towels, bath towels and kitchen towels..

Make or buy a gift basket, gift card to her favorite restaurant or store. If you live close enough maybe an offer to babysit so she can go out.

Thanks! :D

I'm a terrible gift buyer. I can never decide for sure. Good luck to you.

This could be good or bad. If someone gave this to me it would be totally wasted money. I have no desire to get my hair cut or dyed so I have no need to go to a beauty shop and I don't have long fingernails. I know people suggest this a lot but to me that would be the same as getting nothing.
