Do you take multivitamins? Do you think they really help?
-
I do everyday. I don't know if it helps or not, but I've taken them for years.
-
Yes I take Women's Multivitamins everyday if I don't forget to take them. I take the gummy vitamins which are better to take for me.

No. I take many supplements. Potassuin,calcium,E,B12 and I have been told that C is the best way to avoid colds and flu. I will stillbe getting my flu shot! And yes, the vitamins help. My doctor has put me on someof them and the E gets rid of the night sweats.

Eat fresh fruits and veggies to get vitamins naturally.

Yes I take vitamins. I take a woman one a day and Fish oil. Now the fish oil works for high cholesterol it brought it down to normal but I am still working on high triglycerides but over all they have worked.

I started a multivitamin with minerals over a week ago to try and help with the heart palpations I suffer from, but I'm not seeing any results, yesterday and today they have been very bad....
-
Yes! Idk, maybe a little I suppose

I don't take multivitamins. I take a thrillion individual vitamins. Whenever I hear that some vitamin does something beneficial, I take it.
I hope it doesn't make a difference that the vitamin companies are doing the surveys. ::) Ha!
FYI: I do know that thrillion is not really a word. I just hear it on the radio from Dana Loesch and I like it.

I used to take B12 supplements but failed to keep up the habit. Multivitamins tend to make my stomach feel really queasy, but I'm going to attempt taking them again, making sure to do so tentatively -- and with a good meal! :) I do think they make a difference, especially if you aren't ingesting enough nutrients from your food, which I think is the case with a lot of people.

I go in stages. Right now I am not taking any supplements.

Doctor shared with me that at my age I don't need multi vitamins, just continue to eat well, exercise and manage stress by taking relax my mind.

I have a natural multi-vitamin that I take each day, plus I also take magnesium supplements. The magnesium I started a few years ago when I had chronic muscle spasms that would not stop - mostly due to my athletic activities. I learned that older athletes and high performance athletes sometimes need to take magnesium and/or potassium supplements to help the muscles to relax properly if you body isn't getting enough through your diet to keep up with one's activity level.
I don't take the full recommended dosage (mine recommends 3 capsule per day) - I only take 2 per day and that's enough to balance me out, and no more muscle spasms. When I do have a bout where the spasms occur and last more than a day or two, I up my intake to the recommended 3 capsules until I balance out again. Typically those flare ups occur when I add new or extra activities that are short term (like my regular workouts and training, combined with extra seasonal yard work).

They definitely do help. I think it would be better if we could get all the vitamins we need out of food, but most of us don't so I think it's important to take a daily multi-vitamin.
-
I take a daily multi-vitamin and I feel slightly more energetic!
-
Yes can't really say it helps except for one, L-lysine it definitely helps prevents fever blisters.
-
I take a multivitamin, plus I drink an acai juice 2 times a day. The juice makes a big difference, I sleep better, my joints don't hurt /ache when I drink it regularly. A few days off and I can really tell the difference. I try to eat a balanced diet, but it doesn't always happen, this is just a little extra insurance.
-
I take hair vitamins daily. I just started a week ago, so I really don't know how good they work yet.
-
I take a multi-vitamin every day and it seems to help with energy and preventing colds.
-
I take a multi vitamin along with vitamin C, calcium tab, and a cranberry tab every evening after supper. I've just recently added fish oil tabs with my supper. I think they prob all help some. My doctor tells me to keep taking them.
-
I take a multivitamin because I know that I don't eat as well as I should. The vitamin is mini insurance program I guess
-
I really don't feel a difference, but I take them anyway. I love my gummy vitamins.
-
I think pro-biotics help. They put good bacteria in your gut and that helps your immune system.Having a strong immune system is important fighting off infections etc.
Id rather build up my immune system then take vaccinations where they are putting germs in my body.Thats my take on it.I have a friend that got a pneumonia vaccination and a little while later couldnt breathe 1 night and wound up in hospital with pneumonia.
Just my opinion.

I don't take a multi vitamin I am not good at taking pills. However my doctor recommends vitamin D and B 12 Thankfully they are small and can be crushed. I have to admitt the Vitimin D really helps with my mood especialy when It isn't sunny :rose: :pumpkin: :peace:
-
I take vitamins because I don't eat healthy and I know I'm not getting all the nutrition I need from my food. So, yes they help as long as you're taking good quality vitamins.
-
I take vitimins and I do think they help.
-
I take some about every two days just to get all my Vitas up.
-
I cut down on the amount of vitamins I take...just got too expensive. I still take calcium pills though.
-
I don't take a multivitamin, but I do take Vitamin C and Calcium w/Vitamin D. I think vitamins help and I'm religious in taking my Vitamin C....haven't had a cold in two years.
-
Yes, I do take a multi vitamins and during the winter months I try to take vitamin C as well.
-
I sometimes take them if I remember to, but I don't really know if there is a difference honestly
-
Take a multi-vitamin every morning. Also look for drinks that have extra Vitamin C and calcium.
-
I take multi-vitamins sometimes, but mostly I just take magnesium and D3, and drink Carnation Instant Breakfast every couple of days. I try to get the vitamins I need from food, but sometimes it's not enough.
-
I don't yet but I'm definitely going to incorporate some into my daily regimen soon. I think they help, especially for those of us who don't always eat right or have unhealthy habits.

I want to take the gummy bear vitamins (if those are available for adults); maybe I can curve my sweet tooth while enhancing my body
