No and I wish i could! My job doesnt do it, my friends and family dont do it... i am never going to be a secret santa :(
-
We do it on our family every year. I think it is will be fun to get a secret santa again this year.
-
yes, i do, but i'm not a fan because sometimes there are cheap people in the draw and I always hope I don't get them. When you take effort to find a gift in a good price range and you only get back a pair of socks or some chocolate, it sucks!!!

Where I come from we don't call it secret santa. We call it gift exchange.
-
Yes, I have done secret Santa a couple times. Something our local Lions Club does each year is a Secret Santa gift exchange....with a twist. Everyone purchases one real gift and one gag gift then they do an auction and the members bid on the gifts. It's a yearly fund raiser which is a lot of fun. The evening is full of lots of laughs and raises money for the next years Christmas party.

I did one time in high school with my close group of friends and it was a lot of fun. I would love to do it again but i just dont have the time.
-
I have not. But I do love to see Santa Claus sometimes to receive some Christmas presents

We're doing secret santa in three of my classes in school. It should be interesting. I've never done it before this year.
-
I have participated in it before, but it's been a couple years....it's fun...I enjoyed doing it!

an idea to make it easier next year... we did Secret Santa at work last year. They had us write our name on a piece of paper along with three things we like, so the person that would draw a name had three "clues" to work with. It relieved alot of the stress if we got the name of someone we didn't know very well. :)

Our family used to do it, but for some reason we stopped. My siblings and I still give gifts to mom and dad though.
-
I know people who do, but I've never felt the urge to participate in it.
-
I used to do it as a kid believe it or not for my siblings. But all the gifts I have were poorly done homemade gifts.
-
I used to a long time ago in school but not anymore.
-
I have done it before but it has been a long time. I do understand what you mean about it being hard to shop for a man that has everything. Gosh I have a hard time even shopping for my father because he has everything he wants and needs and is so picky.
-
I have heard of it being done but have never done it.

every now and then with friends when we have christmas parties

We did Secret Santa one year at the last place I worked. I enjoyed it very much and I think everyone else did too.
-
we do secret santa each year with my husbands family. it is fun to see which person got you and what they think would make the perfect gift for you.
-
My workplace use to do this in the past, but as our department broken up and now my own department is spread all over the country now, we no longer do this. I do exhange gifts with close colleagues, but this isn't a secret santa.
-
We did this in high school with a close group of friends, and it was a lot of fun. Haven't tried after that.

I think I've only done it twice. Once when I was 10 and it was for my class in school. We all bought random "prizes" and each one was assigned a number, then numbered pieces of paper went into a bowl and each student drew a number and you got which ever prize matched. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure this was for Christmas. lol I did a secret Santa at work several years ago. Everyone was given a slip of paper with someone's name on it. Each person also was given a sheet of paper so we could write down some things about ourselves and ideas so our secret Santa's could learn more about the person they received if they weren't familiar with each other. Then whenever you got the gift for them, you gave it to them as soon as possible then they could either open it then or save it until Christmas. I'm not really fond of the idea, because it's hard to figure out what I want let alone trying to get something for someone you might not even know (or maybe can't afford anything on their list).

I don't really like secret santa because there's so much pressure to get the best gift ever and look good.
-
no i dont have the extra money or i would,,,,,,,,,
-
I love doing secret santa.
-
Not since high school.
-
Thinking about doing secret santa in reddit... Just miss he opportunity to do so last year
-
I used to do them at school, but not anymore. I had some friend who was assigned to give me a present for secret santa. One the day of the exchange, he told me, "Oh, what do you want?" I gave him no response and never got a present.

I have never did a secret santa. I would usually know what the kid may want and then I buy it for Christmas.
