No one should have their jobs taken away for something they did outside of their job.  For instance a big CEO spank his child and it get out, are you going to make him quit his job. How can you continue to support your family if you cannot work. Make me want to say humm........

I don't know the answer as without work it is hard for most people to make it although he has made a lot of money so he can probably get by until next year.  There will be some team that will be willing to hire him to play football again.  I have no problem with kids being spanked but he seems to have gotten too rough.

I think when you name someone and then ask a question about it. Give some information of what it is your talking about. With that said who is Adrian Peterson?

I think that he was a bit excessive the punishment of his child. AP may have learned it while growing up and/or been treated in the same manner but a generation ago we didn't know the psychological impact that behavior like this could create. I think that the National Football League overstepped their boundaries in their punishment-kind of like telling him how to raise his children.  I think that counseling and parenting classes would have been a better route to go. If AP decided to admonish his children in the same manner a second time, after counseling/parenting classes, I would be in full agreement with the course of action initially taken by the NFL. Good Luck to Peterson ...especially because now, if his child misbehaves, AP will not be able to take corrective verbal action-the child will know what happens if AP lays a finger on him.

CEO's are forced to resign all the time for things they say or do outside of work.
