Which one is your favorite? Do you think it is a difference between brands?
-
We seem to be using ALL or TIDE.
Jim
-
Yes I think some make my clothes look brighter ,whiter or smell nicer than others. It's not just an ad come on.
-
we use Tide,,, if I use anything else it makes me itch lol so I'm stuck with tide but it usually does a good job
-
I use Tide 95% of the time, unless money is super tight, then I get a lesser priced soap
-
I am using All laundry detergent and like it.
-
I am allergic to all laundry soaps on the market but many years ago I found that Amway's laundry soap didn't bother me plus it cleans so good that I don't have to use bleach.
-
I like Amway too, but most of the time I use All with no dyes, no perfumes super sensitive.
-
Tide is my favorite. I really like the scent.
-
I like to use the laundry soaps. Thank You!
-
I always use Gain. I like the lavender scent and it works best for my clothes. My clothes look cleaner and brighter.
-
I have used Tide for years ... when I was a kid my mom tried a bargain brand and it made me itch .. had to rewash all my clothes
-
I absolutely love Gain. It works well and smells great. I just don't get to use it because my hubby is allergic to it :( . About the only thing I've found that he is able to use is All clear and Xtra. Luckily the Xtra works well and is cheap too!
-
We usually use either TIDE or GAIN. There doesn't seem to be much difference in most of the brands on the market unless you have to pick certain ones due to skin sensitivities. They all clean about the same.
-
I love Gain Lavender scent for laundry detergent. I have used All, which is good too, but in my opinion doesn't clean as well as Gain. I also like to add those scent beads to my laundry (and I keep some in a baggie with pinholes in it in my dresser drawers to keep everything smelling nice)
-
Ok don't laugh but I use a no name from the dollar store. I find that it works just as good and they are scented :)
-
I use ERA liquid. It cleans well and I can usually find a coupon or sale price on it.
-
I use Tide. I really think it cleans the best. I remember years ago their commerical "if it's got to be clean, it's got to be Tide" and I really do believe that.
-
I like using Purex. I used to use the liquid detergent, but I personally believe that the powder form lasts longer (and therefore saves money).
-
I use free & clear of all perfumes or scented laundry detergent,
-
I like using liquid soap like tide or pure when I wash.
-
I like Tide with bleach (and Seventh Generation).
-
I used to sell Amway and really liked their soap and then I got away from it and have never gone back. Thanks for reminding me about it. I am going to find another dealer. Most of the soap bothers me and the dry is a lot worse then the liquid. Once in a while I will make my own, but it just does not get the whites as clean as I want. But it is a lot cheaper. I guess I had better get some more made am almost out. But I use tide for the whites.
-
I use Tide Pods and I love them. They are easy to use, all you do is throw the pod in the washing machine and go. It also has a nice smell.
-
Whatever I happen to grab :P I'm not really attached to a brand. Lately we've been using Sun, but if something else comes up cheaper I've no problem with switching.
-
I use Roma. It's cheap, a little goes a long way and it works great.
-
Tide, but it's expensive compared to the other brands.
-
Tide, I'll stick with it, because my husband and son are allergic to others so I don't other brands anymore.
-
Tide is our most used laundry soap in our household; Gain would be our second. They are both on the pricey side, but they do a much better job of cleaning clothes and getting the stains out.
-
I have used a few different ones. One of my favorites has to be Arm and Hammer.
-
we use purex and 409 for stains and dont stuff the washer full an our clothes look really nice
-
I like to use Gain. Once a while I will also use Tide or All
-
I have used various brands of laundry soap. Purex and Gain are definitely my favorites.
-
I make my own detergent. It works well. Otherwise I use Tide.
-
I've been using Extra, a fairly cheap brand, generally I stick with the lowest price laundry soap-and so far haven't found any difference.
-
I use TIDE - I really think it does a better job.
-
I now use the cheaper store brands as I cant really tell the difference
-
I use tide like the way it cleans clothes.
-
I use liquid All. I only use a tiny bit because I think the directions tell you to use too much. If your clothes are not that dirty, there's no need to put much more than 1/4 cup per load. And I love conserving things so that I save money! :highfive:
On warmer days I hang my wash outside. It's a real energy saver using the sun and the breeze to dry your things. Some people don't like how the towels feel when they're dried outside, but the truth is they soften as soon as they touch your wet body. :-[ And if crackly towels really bother you, you can put them in the dryer on air dry after you let them dry a little outside first and they'll feel softer. You still save energy and, therefore, money.
I always hang up my delicate laundry items inside. The dryer beats up your clothes and they don't last as long. Oh yes, it does. :sad1: Just another one of my conservation measures. :peace:
-
I use Tide and Arm&Hammer. Other brands irritate my skin.
-
Which one is your favorite? Do you think it is a difference between brands?
My daughter is making our laundry soap. I don't know all of the ingredients she uses, but ZOTE soap is one of them.
Our laundry smells so good!
-
I like Tide with bleach. Hope everyone has a good day. :)
-
I have used Wisk for many years now. It is one of the few that doesn't make my husband break out in a rash.
-
I love tide
-
Gain is my favorite but as of right now our household is using tide. I don't know the name of it but it comes in a yellow bottle.
-
Tide or Gain is the best but if I'm broke I use Fab or Foca, both are pretty good.
-
Most of the time I use ARm & hammer
-
I just used the cheaper brand of laundry detergent in a dollar store and its cleans good also. I used fabric softener when i do drier.
-
store brand
-
I use tide a lot of times. I also believe that all the detergents have the same ingredients because I read the labels in almost all of them.
-
I Use to use Arm & Hammer now I use tide simply it cleans good and is cheaper... :)
-
I love arm and hammer detergent it smells so good.
-
I use Arm and Hammer, and then, I was experimenting with All liquid and Cheers liquid. I put Snuggles in the liquid dispenser too. Made my clothes soft. I like Woolite, but it's a major rip off on how much the bottle size is, so I only fill it for one line or less. $10 it cost and don't see much coupons. I read this site too http://www.diynatural.com/homemade-laundry-detergent-soap/2/. Team Borax good too. I wanted to try homemade laundry but never got to it.
Downy horrible and made me breakout and itchy. I used Tide in the past, but $23+ wasn't worth it.
-
All & I'm sure every laundry detergent is different!
-
yes i use the tide pods and they seem to be a good fit for my laundry and brighter also use the oxie on my white clothes and there also in a pod love them really like been use them for yrs.
-
Personally I think Tide or Era are the best but you pay for it so is it worth it? Maybe using less of the higher end would end up being the equivalent of using more of the cheaper stuff. Also if a person had coupons and watched the sale ads they could get the better stuff for the cheaper price. I make my own or use the all natural kind because we recycle our water and we only have 2 in our house so I hand wash clothes and we don't get overly dirty so.
-
I like the tide pods. These are perfect for my child in college. He can use these and not worry about putting too much detergent in his clothes. I like name brand detergents versus the cheaper ones. They definitely get stains out.
-
I love gain, but can't afford the brand names. I just get the cheapest and that seems to work just fine.
-
We use arm and hammer and Purex which everyone is BOGOF at the time.
-
For whites, I use Tide with Bleach. For the colored or dark clothes, we use Wisk. I'm pretty impressed with the Wisk, really. If there's a spot or oil on the clothes, I take a little, pour it on the spot, rub it in and let it sit while I'm doing the rest of the laundry. It takes the spot out. I like the Tide with Bleach because it really makes the whites bright. I have tried that OxiClean stuff and it stinks. I won't waste my money on that anymore!
-
My favorite type of laundry soap is the cheapest, I do think there is a difference between tide and the other ones but not enough of a difference to pay that much extra money!
-
Which one is your favorite? Do you think it is a difference between brands?
I like Gain most often but sometimes use others when I am low on funds.
-
I like to make my own, but if I'm buying it, I usually just go to the Dollar Tree.
-
Which one is your favorite? Do you think it is a difference between brands?
gain is such a good smelling soap for your clothes
-
I use whatever my hubby purchases at the HyVee in Kearney, Nebraska... however, I so like the pods...
-
I like tide as my laundry soap.it does a good job
-
i like gain or tide,,,,yes it makes a difference,,,,,
-
I use Purex detergent mostly and when I can afford it, I like Gain-the scents are really great.
-
The best detergent for laundry on the market, as far as I'm concerned, is WISK. It not only cleans the clothes but I also use it to eliminate stains, like a stain remover, only I don't buy all the "separate" products. I think if you give it a try, you'll love it.
-
I've tried a lot of different brands...Purex stuff I find does a nice job and doesn't cost so much
-
Most things I do now a days come from a mindset revolved around my health. So, I started making my own. Borax, bar of soap, and washing soda. All organic. It works nicely.
-
I have two favorite laundry soaps for my family. I like the Tide All free and clear for my son who has eczema and I have Tide with Downy (April Fresh) for the rest of the family. As soon as I get the laundry mixed up, my son comes up in a dry, itchy rash which takes a few days to go with the use of hydrocortisone cream. Again once or twice I have been tempted to buy a cheaper alternative, buy my son pays for it so I switch back.
-
I've tried A Lot of laundry detergents But I must say Tide's is hands down the best and why they are so expensive. I just hate when you take out laundry with the cheap detergent and it seem like you didn't even wash the load just gross I've had to rewash a load because of it.
-
I have no preference... As long as it cleans and it doesn't discolor my clothes, then it's alright
-
I am using All laundry detergent and I like it.
-
Any type of free and clear low price laundry detergent is fine with me.
-
I use Purex. It works well for me, and is cheaper than some of the other brands.
-
My favorite laundry soap is Purex. I love the fragrance and it does a great job on cleaning my clothes. Yes there is a difference in laundry soap brands. It all depends on what you want in a detergent as to what you should buy and how you want your clothes to look. :)
-
I think Gain is my all time favorite, but Tide is excellent too. I have used Fab in the past and it smelled good too.
-
My favorite laundry soap is Gain. Love the smell.
-
I like the laundry pods! Wish I could afford them!
-
I just get what's on sale nowadays.
-
I use Gain but i like Wisk.
-
I love Era. Used it since it came out. Tried All and Tide but they didn't do the job like Era did. Also used the Amway brand when I was a distributor and didn't like it at all.
-
I use Purex and sometimes Gain laundry detergents.
-
Gain's is a good laundry soap to use make your clothes smell good and feel soft
-
I usually use tide pods to wash clothes, but their may be others.
-
I love the Tide Pods. They smell so good and are so easy to use. Makes my clothes smell fresh and clean.
-
The best laundry soap I have ever used is hands down WISK!!! It takes out stains and makes the entire wash come out beautifully clean and since it's a liquid there will never be a "build-up" of caked powder soap in your pipes!!!!
-
I might try going organic if it's possible! Since even laundry soap has chemicals that react to my skin!
-
I really don't have a favorite laundry soap; however, I have a favorite fabric softener. I like Downy. I also like to use the front loading washers where I can add the fabric softener at the same time I add the soap.
-
thats why i pour tide all over my fat *bleep* so its nice and soft and it smells nice too ;)
-
Tide,,,, have used it for so long anything else makes my body itch lol plus I love the smell of it. it cleans my clothes better and you can use it in all water temps :)
-
I really don't have a favorite laundry soap; however, I have a favorite fabric softener. I like Downy. I also like to use the front loading washers where I can add the fabric softener at the same time I add the soap.
Hey sherry, you have a skype so we would chat naked ;) i really want to see those feet
-
Let me tell you people. I use to love laundry soap Gain I also used Tide but I recently have learned how many harmful chemicals are added to make these products and other different brands of laundry soaps. I came across all natural without harmful chemicals what so ever, safe around kids, and if kids accidently drank it it won't harm them its that natural and its called Melapower. After using it I was sold forever and it is much cheaper. One melapowet detergent had 96 load where 3 small tides would combine 96 loads and those 3 tides would cost around $38 at Walmart, where melapower would just cost $17. Im sold forever and the results are great. So why do we use chemicals where there are apsolutly natural products out there?
-
I like Fab
-
I use tide the most. However, I found all these detergents working the same. As long as my clothes are cleaned I don't care about the brand name.
-
There are big different between each brand. There are certain brands that I like such as Tide, Gain and All.
-
I like anything cheap my last time I bought it at dollar TREE
-
I am partial to Purex, but only because of the cheaper price. I used to use liquid detergent, but it finished so quickly. So I switched to the powder version.
-
My all time favorite is Gain, but use Tide and All too.
