Title: Scrabble app on a desktop

I used to play with pixiepit until they started charging. I payed for a year and then left. Pogo used to be free to play and then started charging. I don't know if they went back to "free games" or not. I met a few nice online friends there. There are Scrabble apps to download and they are ok - not spectacular.

Words With Friends on Facebook is a nice Scrabble app. The great thing about it is that it informs you whether the word you are about to play is a word or not before you play it. I play Words With Friends every single day and just love the game. I play with somebody in Canada and somebody in MA all the time.

why don't you just google "free games" and see what comes up.  Sometimes that's the only way to go!
