I had some great news last week. The place where I work made me a full time employee so now I get benefits and a little more cash each month. No raise but, hey, you don't get everything. And I am really happy to get a full time job.
I had some bad news last week. The place where I work made me a full time employee so now I get benefits. But, the Affordable Health Care we had for my spouse and I went from $45 for two of us to $207 for just him. So, I actually make less money now than before I became a full time employee. Now, our overall income for the discount didn't change because I used a higher than actual estimated income when I applied.
Ain't life funny?

That's interesting...I won't be too nosy but was that because of some subsidy or something? Health care costs are ridiculous and weird. I didn't realize that until I got laid off from a job and had to purchase my own insurance or stay on COBRA...
