:) I take a lot of vitamins and try and avoid large crowds. So far this year I have been doing well. I am ready for summer though. :)

This is the worst time of year for me as far as allergies go. I will try to stay inside more.

Oh my goodness, each year I think I have seen the worst cases of colds and flu's but this year seems to top them all! My husband got a nasty bug which sent him to the emergency room. They gave him an inhaler and some steroid medication and he is now starting to improve. Now my kids have this bug which is particularly sad for my younger son as he already has asthma. I am keeping a close eye on him and he is doing okay. I kept him off school for a couple of days and then sent him back in but collected him from school during recess that he didn't have to be exposed to unnecessary triggers. Today is his first day back at school with all his recesses - he thinks it's as good as Christmas morning!

I haven't had a cold or the flu in years. I stay indoors and away from people. I have no choice in bad weather since I have trouble walking so I'm not out in the public.

I do have allergies, though, and I think it's to this house. When I'm away from the house, I don't have watery eyes, runny nose, coughing or sneezing. In the house, I have all of those systems! Go figure.

The crazy weather everywhere is bound to make someone sick.  The ups and downs are crazy on the sinuses.

It is all weather related! Too much dust, snow. Take vitamin C. Consult your nurse because there are lot of cases of asthma and COPD.

I had a pretty nasty head cold last week. I felt bad cause I was going up north to see my boyfriend and hoped I wouldn't get him sick. Luckily, he didn't seem to get what I had. I hate colds!

Most people get sick when they are stressed and "bad" weather can be stressful for some people.  Not me.  I love cold, snow and rain.  I deal with cold temperatures easier than a hot August day.

The nutrients I use to deal with stress are B complex and magnesium.  Vitamin A is great for preventing and fighting infections and you know you have an infection if you run a fever.  As already mentioned, vitamin C in great for flushing toxins and acts as a decongestant for digestive and respiratory systems.  Be well and be happy.

Here in Florida, I have seen so many people sick with the flu this year. Luckily we have escaped it. Not sure how, we have had our flu shots, which the Drs office said wasn't very effective, but has been working luckily.

I have said this more than once & i will repeat it.

Pro-biotics really do work. They put good bacteria in your gut and that helps your immune system.Of course it doesnt hurt to be smart in other ways either.

I get a tasty chewy wafer called Fiber-biotics.I will gladly tell anyone the site i have used over 5 yrs now if anyone is interested.
