I talk for 8 hours a day at work so I do not talk much during the weekend, but I do sometimes on the weekends. I prefer to text unless it is important.
-
Texting is my preference as well.
-
I like talking over texting I have a hard time spling
-
I do more text than talking, but I like both!
-
I like to talk more. I usually don't like to write anything unless I have too :)
-
Completely depends on the situation....short stuff, text, long stuff, talk.
-
For short conversations, texting is good. However long conversations I rather do talking... Don't want to see walls and walls of texts
-
I had to talk on the phone for so many years when I was working that I don't like to talk on the phone very much now. I don't really care for texting, either. I do IM on the computer with friends and family.
-
I prefer talking in person as opposed to talking on the phone or texting. To me it is friendlier and I can then be sure that what I say will not be misunderstood.
-
I would rather talk it's easier for me text is to slow.
-
When I'm at work I prefer to text. When I'm home I like to talk
-
It depends on what kind of communication is necessary as to which I prefer, calling or texting.
Quick texts just to remind the kids of something are great. Or even to share a quick picture. Texting has become very much a part of my daily communication.
Calls are best when it is a conversation.
-
Depends on the person but I like texting. Most of my friends have little kids and texting seems to be an easy way to keep in touch without being intrusive. I'm always afraid I'm going to wake their kids up or something if I call.
-
I am not much of a phone talker to begin. For years I spent my days at work on the phone so never got into the habit of talking on the phone for very long for personal stuff. I only use a cell phone for emergencies (we have no cell coverage where I live and it is spotty at best in the county.) Have only, believe it or not, texted twice in my life. Pretty low tech life I lead.
-
NEITHER! 8)
-
I prefer to text, as do most of my family and friends. However, if it starts to get lengthy, then I call.
-
Depends on the context. For referencing back or to respond at my own pace, text and e-mail is better for me. However, if I know this is going to be a lot of back and forth, calling is still oftentimes easier. Some people just cannot appropriately use e-mail and text to get out their point, so I just call with some people.
-
I prefer talking on my cell phone as opposed to texting. Texting takes more time even though you can do it by voice. Talking directly to the person for me is more personal. :)
-
I mostly talk on the phone but I text also on my spare time.
-
Both; but texting is usually a lot easier when you just want to get something out quick.
-
I prefer to text, I prefer to use the ATM. Lots of times it is just a lot quicker, I don't really like to waste time on small talk with people I don't know. I think sometimes that cashiers, tellers feel like they have all day here anyway so they chit chat about nothing.
-
Texting especially when I'm at work and I can't talk.
-
I'd rather talk than text. To me, texting is like talking to an automated phone system. I'd rather just talk to a person.
-
I mainly use it for texting. I very rarely use it to call someone, especially since I have a landline.
-
Never been a phone person I prefer to text.
-
I prefer to text, it's easier and I can reply at my own convenience.
-
Actually I like to talk in person :)
-
It depends on the situation sometimes its easier to text other times to talk.
-
I prefer to talk, but text is good for appts. so I have a written record.
-
I mostly text all day expect if I haven't seen someone for a while then I call.
-
I used to like texting a lot when I was younger but now I find calling to be more enjoyable as I get older.
-
I prefer talking, but I end up mostly texting, because that's usually how I communicate with my siblings who live very far away.
-
I really don't like texting at all but I am getting a little better at it than I was. I'll never be good at it though. I prefer talking mostly.
-
I prefer to hear the voice of a loved one on the phone. I will text if I have too, but I do not care for it. It is so impersonal.
-
I prefer to text so that I can accomplish other things as needed. It is more efficient.
-
Depends on who I am talking to and if it is something simple or something that would require a long conversation. Honestly I really don't like doing either. Lol.
-
I prefer to text. If I'm going to talk to someone, I'd rather do it in person. If it's long distance, then I'd still rather text.
-
I would rather talk than text.I can talk a lot faster than I can type.
-
I do both talk and text quite frequently, but I prefer to talk rather than text. Then again it depends on the situation, mood and where I am.
-
I really do not enjoy talking on the phone. Texting is the best!
-
It really depends on what i need to let the other person know. I would normally prefer just calling though you get to a decision a lot quicker.
-

-
I text a lot. It's just easier. But I've noticed that older people use the phone more and younger people text more.

I prefer Facebook, which I guess is a forma of texting. I absolutely hate calling these days.
-
In previous jobs I have had, I had to talk to people everyday via phone. I grew to hate talking on the phone and dealing with irritated customers. I Because of that I hate talking on the phone or even texting.
-
I prefer texting, though sometimes my sarcasm doesn't go well in written form. Thank goodness for emojiis that I can add to hint at sarcasm instead of being serious!
;) :P
-
Prefer texting definitely - I worked in all centers for years prior to retiring so I guess because of that I lost my taste so to speak for talking on the phone. Anyone I would want to chat on the phone with has passed away anyway so I prefer to text because my sons and I use texting for staying in touch with each other if one or more of us is out shopping or whatever.
-
I dont even own a cell anymore.Even tho i admit for emergency it would be good to have.
