I tend to do well for a while with eating and exercising, then veer off track.  Trying to get back to it now, too.

I read that green tea helps with your metabolism.  I'm gonna have to try that.

Mostly what I do is work in the yard and try to eat light.

I was doing great with my routine exercise and had lost almost 15 pounds. Unfortunately though I had to get surgery a few weeks ago and it still has not healed all the way so I can't do my regular cardio and strength training exercises until I am fully healed. It is driving me crazy b/c I was so motivated because of the weight I had lost and how good I was feeling. Hopefully I will be healed soon so I can get back to it.

I wish I had the secret. It seems like I have been trying to lose weight for at least 10 years. But I can't stay on a diet. I do cut back on food and try to exercise more. I would like to find something I could make a life-time commitment to. BMaston12

I've been drinking green smoothies almost everyday and only having water as my drink of choice. My focus for doing these things is to get my body healthy. As I keep going, the pounds will come off.

I'm avoiding certain things like gluten.  I'm also reading a book entitled 10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse with the intention of using my Power Blender to improve my health.  For me, it's not about losing weight as much as I want to have more energy.

Who am I kidding?  I'd also like to wear a small size.

I'm trying to eat better, but I'm exercising every day and I've lost nearly 10 pounds. Want to lose another 7 or so. Green tea's amazing stuff as well.

I used to try to walk about 7.5 miles a week but I have upped the goal to 10 miles a week in an effort to lose a few pounds. I am also cutting down on carbs big time in my evening meals and trying not to snack at all in between meals.

My husband is an avid cyclist and I've started riding a bike with him on his "easy" days. We're also going to train for sprint-triathalon in September!
I use FitBit and the LostIt! app to monitor my activity and calorie intake.

I'm trying the diet called "22 Day Revolution".  It's special diet that helps you lose weight you eat meatless vegetarian meals for 22 days,  then you eat normally(healthy) after that.   ;)

I try to watch what I eat.  And not just because it is summer.  I wish I could lose about 20 pounds but it feels like a losing battle.

Boston, It is hard to make a life time commitment unless you are rich.  I can't afford to eat healthy all the time.  It's like the old joke where they show a picture of a cheese burger from McDonald's with 99 cents above it and then a salad with $5.99 above it and it says "And you wonder why everyone is fat".
