Will your friends and co-workers and managers miss you?
-
I don't know they just might I won't know anytime soon.
-
I try not to make too many friends at work. I try to separate my life from my work. So there are some people I will miss and some people who will miss me but not a lot.
-
Probably not a lot of people....lol...
-
I think a lot of my co-workers would miss me for a little bit; but, I feel that the residents at the group home where I work will miss me a lot more than my co-workers will.
-
I don't know. I have some friends at work that we like working together. I do my job. I work hard. Co-workers who do the same appreciate that.
-
I retired in 2007 and I still miss the people I worked with and they miss me too. We try to all get together for lunch at least once, and sometimes twice, a year just to keep up with one another's lives.
-
nope i dont think so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 ;)

I retired and I had some good friends at work. We are always in touch and I know they miss having me on the job. And I miss that daily camaraderie too.

LOL. Probably the same with everyone. They might miss you a few days and then eventually it's like "this guy that use to work here". : )
There are a couple of people I miss when they are off. I don't know that I am missed when I am not there but I know there are co-workers who do like to work with me. Or at least they act like they do when I am there. hehe

I retired a few years ago. The people I was close to have remained my friends and we keep in touch both by texting and getting together once a month. The other coworkers I had a working relationship with I don't miss and I'm sure they don't miss me either.
-
Absolutely! My job is a homeschool mom! My kids would definitely miss me!;)
-
I'm already retired and from my own company - I would say I miss the job more than the job misses me :o
-
I doubt it! I only have one coworker on my shift, and while we work well together, we aren't close friends. The only reason he would miss me would be if he got a terrible worker as a replacement. On the first shift, I know they wouldn't miss me because they are impossible to get along with.
-
There are many people I will miss when I retire. I will also miss the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of some folks. I will not miss the stress.
-
I think if I wore to retire or quit my job, I think I will be missed; I'm sure!
-
I get a long with my coworkers but they aren't really my good friends so no I don't think they will miss me that much.
-
We have 3 or 4 that are working on their notice and I will not miss any of them!
-
Of course they will ... but I won't care cause I will be retired .. wooo hooo
-
I believe my co-workers will miss me, because we always work as a team and care for each other outside work. I work at the assisted living place and I know all the workers and residents. We treat each other as a family and that is hard to forget. If I quite then for sure I would be missed.

I think that people usually miss others that they have shared a long time with. I am usually on projects for two to three years and most jobs, these days, only last for two to three years. The average full time worker puts in a little over two thousand hours a year at their jobs which means the have spent at least four thousand hours with people-probably more than they have spent with friends and family! Attachment tends to occur given those ranges. Even living next to the same neighbor for ten to twenty years can produce that same intimacy. I still speak with people that I worked with on projects from six years ago and constantly run into the same people on different projects. My night time project is from home so there really are no attachments.
