there are a number of choices for pain relief. The ads are all over the place. I just saw an ad before this post.
Someone told me about something years ago. I didn't listen - I didn't need it. A second person told me about the same thing and I had a need for it . I listened and am going to use from now on.
There is no wrong choice sometimes. It just depends on your preferences.
I educate myself about certain products, make comparisons and choose.
I see the ads flash on my computer screen and ignore most of them.

It is like that with everything. With every product. And any product that comes out some other company will start making something similar and both will claim THEIR product is the best. Different products work differently for different people. Some OTC pain relievers work great for one person and the next cannot take it or it doesn't work well for them. I am glad we have choices. When a company gets a monopoly their product quality goes down and their price goes way up. Especially if it is something we have to have.
