A friend of mine is going through Kaplan and she really loves it.  The community college by me, Pikes Peak Community College, lets you do everything online if you want to. You can try looking into the schools in your area and see if they offer the same thing.

I don't get the online college thing.  Looks like it would be hard to get a job because you can't prove that YOU actually took the course.  I know someone who done the online college and someone else done half her stuff for her.

Seriously?  They GIVE you a laptop?  Or you pay for it as part of tuition and all that?

Many colleges are offering on-line classes specifically for those looking to go back to school. You should check with local schools this way if you need to complete one on campus you should be able to do it. In my area there are many people attending the university of Phoenix on-line.

Checking accreditation is key.  Also, check the general ratings through online searches.  How long have they been in business?  What is the graduation rate and employment rate?  Search and make calls.
Many are good schools.  On occasion you may have to meet periodically with other students in your subject matter and at your level at a designated place near your geographic location.  There are many techniques used to involve one in online classes, such as attending a class at a certain time online where it is expected that you will interact and be an active participant.  It is wise to do so.
