Title: Movies, DVD, Or Cable
Post by: metsrock69 on July 01, 2015, 05:05:37 pm: Do you go to the movies to watch a new movie, wait for it on DVD, or wait until it comes on cable? if it is a movie I really want to see, I will go to the movies. once in a while I will get it on DVD. sometimes I wait for it to come on cable.

Post by: vg7405 on July 02, 2015, 01:29:40 am: It depends on the movie. However, my days of going to the movie theater (especially on the day that a movie first comes out) are long gone. I usually wait for it to come out on DVD, cable, or I download it.

Post by: Nancy5 on July 02, 2015, 06:56:47 am: We usually wait for DVD, going to the mivies often is a thing of the past. No to be cheap, but between the price of the tickets, popcorn, soda, etc. I would rather go out to eat at a nice restaurant.

Post by: michele2042 on July 02, 2015, 08:31:58 am: We wait until it's on cable. Maybe if finances improve we'll get back to going to the movies. For now, we have to wait. Turns out it's not that bad waiting, most come on a lot quicker than they use to. Still enjoy the going to the movies but it's just so expensive. Hopefully we'll get to where we can go once in awhile.

Post by: articx on July 02, 2015, 11:06:40 am: I don't go to theaters or buy DVDs, and don't really wait for movies to come on cable. When a movie is being played on cable, that is when I make a choice to watch it or not.

Post by: mrisha on July 02, 2015, 06:17:34 pm: I haven't been to a movie in a lot of years. The theaters are usually filthy and I don't like my feet sticking to the floor. You have to wonder what is on the floors or seats. I buy DVD's where I can watch a movie in the comfort of my home.

Post by: bleyd on July 03, 2015, 09:02:00 am: No cable - only Netflix and TV antennae that picks up only local stations. We still go to the movies...it's fun to go once in awhile!
