I seem to like to text more than talk on the phone. I guess because I am on phones about 8 hours a day at work.
what do you like to do?

i am not very good at texting so i talk more! when i am texting my kids they get so impatient because it takes so long to for me to reply back --they have texted 4 or 5 times waiting on my first reply

I prefer texting. I have 3 kids 4 and under at home, so with texting I can respond on my own time, without kids screaming and yelling and crying. I call my Mom regularly, but other than that I tend to just text people.

Well since we haven't come fully into the 21st century (mostly because we are on a very fixed budget and can't afford it) we still have a basic plan so we don't have texting on our phones so the only thing I can do is talk. My daughter is the only one with a smart phone but because she is on our plan she has 2 gigs of data she can use a month she pays for so she downloaded the kik app and texts her friends that way and it doesn't go on our bill.

I talk on my phone way more than text. I also like to Facetime, particularly with my brand new granddaughter.
-
I would rather text if it can be said with a short message, but I cheat and use voice entry to compose it.
-
I talk more then I text on my mobile as well. Texting take's quite of time if you have something extreme to talk about. I only text, if I have one or two questions to ask, if I see I have to reply back and forth, then I just make that certain phone call and stop all that texting. :glasses-nerdy:

well i used to be very against texting and i would always call but now people just communicate more effectively through text messages i think so i do those the most.
-
I text more. I guess because I'm at a lot of places where I can't talk or don't want to talk about certain issues.
-
For the most part, I talk. I am finding that texting is more appropriate in certain situations.
-
I talk on the phone more than I text. My cousin doesn't text on her phone, so we can only talk. Sometimes I text back and forth with my daughter.

I talk on the phone stillhave the fliphone some day I will get a smartphone and learn how totext
-
I text the most. It is most convenient. I dont get stuck on the phone and am able to get things done. i do not text and drive though.

Since I have the unlimited plan, I like to talk the best. When I didn't have the unlimited talk plan I loved the 1/3 penny to text made my minutes go a little longer. I will text to my friends if they text me first and will ask if I could call them back if they don't have to pay for receiving a call.

I tend to text more than I talk. I prefer doing that, especially when I am beyond busy and cannot dedicate myself to a full-length verbal conversation.
-
I do both. But I prefer talking on my cell phone. texting takes too much energy.

I do most of my communication via text, I rarely talk on the phone unless it's to my parents or I need a quick answer to.
