Who got to do fun stuff this summer? Any stories or big plans ?

Not I...My summer has been pretty lame so far. Not to mention I am sweating profusely right now.

We have done a few fun things this summer. We are planning to go camping a few weekends through this fall.

I have had quite possibly the worst summer ever. I am hoping and praying that it will get better somehow.

The summer vacation period for school kids seems to be shorter all the time.  That makes the summer fun time short.  I remember 3 whole months of vacation when I was a kid. :confused1:

We had a big family reunion and we all went fishing and camping this summer. Oh what fun it was for the whole family and esspecially for children. Then we went home and made a camp fire at my dads backyard and rosted mushmellows and told stories and stuff. It was so nice to take time off from ellectronics and be reconnected with nature.
