rechargeable batteries are popular.
I still buy batteries in the packs.
to buy new batteries and change them all once a year is a good idea to avoid battery acid.
I lost a fan because it was contaminated with battery acid.
I kept the batteries in.
Now I keep the batteries out when I am not using whatever it is.
I also buy new batteries every year for everything.

I used to use a recharger for my batteries. Now I don't use so many batteries. My charger is in storage somewhere I think. I just buy the regular batteries now. Still have to find a place to dispose of them. I take them to Home Depot. BMaston12

Every time I bought rechargeables, they just don't last long!

That's what I found also. I think if you look at all the electricity it takes to recharge them all the time, it's just cheaper to buy regular batteries.

I'm with the rechargeable batteries due to the environment. I even have solar cell phone chargers too. Its a pain as the life goes fast after 25 charges, but worth it.

rechargeable batteries are great for the environment since you do have to buy them over and over at the store. it is not a good day when you have a bucket of dead batteries that you have no choice but to sift through because you didnt get/have rechargeable ones.
