I love to listen to the 4 part harmony.
Thank goodness for youtube videos.
The quartet groups charge quite a bit for one performance.

Hey, Gerianne:
There is nothing like four-part harmony. Fun to listen to and fun to do. I had an uncle who was in the S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. - The long array of initials stands for the "Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America." He sang almost until the day he died. :notworthy:
I was in Sweet Adelines until they closed the chapter that was near me. :( It is just the funnest thing ever to make close harmony. It rings sometimes when it's really perfect. :highfive: The only thing I didn't like is that they made us wear red lipstick and heels for performances and we all had on the same thing for conformity. :P
I look absolutely ghastly in red lipstick, but it's supposed to help people see your face on stage. We also had to do choreographed things as we sang. I'd love to do it again. :D I'm either a ham or an exhibitionist at heart. :-\

I grew up on and still love 4 part harmony. It isn't around as much as I would like any more :(
