Title: Taking a break?
Post by: patti4me on September 29, 2015, 08:56:29 am
I have a lot of things going on right now that really need all my attention.  I'm thinking that maybe after I cash out this next time I may stop doing FC for a while.  Does anyone know how long I can be inactive and still remain a member?  Thanks for any help with this question.

not sure but i know that after 180 days your credits start to fall off so i would think it would be sometime around that mark.

I think you can take a break for as long as you need to, I don't think FC closes your account for inactivity.  But of course any existing credits you have will expire after 180 days, so it's best to cashout first.

As long as your account is empty, I think you have as long as you need. I've seen people in the forum who have said they had forgotten about FC for really long periods of time, needed some extra money and wanted to give it another go. They usually just say they are excited to be back and I haven't seen any of them mention they had to try to get their account back or anything like that. If you want to be sure though, you should check out the TOS at the bottom of the page to see if there's info on it there :)

I am prettty sure that Fc will not close your account for inactivity.  Just make sure you cash out first, as all credits earned that are over 180 days will expire.  You might want to put in a ticket with FC letting them know you will be inactive for a while.

I don't like to, but in the past I have had to take a break. Advice from posters above is very wise. Best of luck.

Just make sure you are completely cashed out and take whatever length breaks you want or need.  If they de-activate your account over inactivity, you just sign up again.  These type sites are competitive for members and there should be no problem.

I was inactive once for more than a year (lost all my credits after the 180 day mark). But I don't think there is a time frame of being inactive. I may be wrong but if so then I think they would have deactivated me.

All this means is that you may have to provide updated information such as an email address, a new account no. for direct deposits, new phone, etc.  Deactivation can simply mean your account is no longer active and when you want to come back you have to update your current information so that Fusion has the latest stats on you!!!!

I am sure that FC will welcome you back whenever you are willing to return.  We will all be here also willing to welcome you back.  I pray that all works out for you.

I am sure you can cut down like I did and still get a cash out in 3-5 months for just 4 hours a week on here.

I took many days off over the summer. I still managed to cash out after 3-4 months.
Now I am back to my daily routine.

Make sure that you cash out before losing all the credits....

Thank you all for the input.  I feel better about taking the break after this cashout.

Cash out and you will still remain active as long as you dont request your account to be terminated
