Title: Do you like crossword puzzles?
Post by: melodylogan45 on October 11, 2015, 03:28:38 am: I find cross word puzzles to be tuff, so I do word search puzzles and suduko for now, maybe
one day I will tackle tbose puzzles again.

Post by: vg7405 on October 11, 2015, 05:22:11 am: I absolutely LOVE crossword puzzles; in fact, I am actually completing one at this moment, LOL. The New York Times-esque puzzles are exceptionally difficult, so I stick with the easy, large-print ones that you can purchase in any store.

The daily Argus Leader newspaper crossword is challenging, but not so hard that it can't be done. Most days I can complete the whole puzzle without any trouble.
However, the Sunday crossword, is much harder. Sometimes I can only get a few; other times, I can complete the whole puzzle.

Post by: braggin on October 14, 2015, 07:22:02 am: I don't like crossword puzzles so much but love to do at least one logic puzzle every day. I have a subscription to a logic puzzle magazine and they keep me occupied for a couple hours every day. It's good exercise for the brain.

word puzzles are ok for the first few minutes...when I can answer a few questions ;)

Post by: quietpal on October 25, 2015, 09:57:53 am: Yes I do because they help me to learn new words. Sometimes those same words are answers in other crossword puzzles. They also help keep my brain stimulated, although some crosswords can be frustrating.
