adopted 2 cats we have one and she is great, but may want to get another one .do you think she'll be jealous or take to a kitten. She is an indoor cat but loves to watch the cats who come around that live in the neighborhood.

not sure since I'm not familiar with cats...might depend on the types, sizes and relative ages

I would expose your current cat to other cats for the day in your home and she how she does. I have five kittens in our home, I love them so much!!

We've had 2 cats at the same time before but right now we just have one. When we had 2, one of them was a mature tomcat and the other one was a kitten when we got him. The older cat would get aggravated at the kitten but they got along pretty good overall. You could definitely tell which cat was the alpha even after the kitten grew up. The older cat would smack the younger one when he would get a little too rowdy but he didn't do it too often as he knew he ruled lol!

I have several cats of different ages. I would say get a friend for your cat. I keep the new cat separate for a few days so the resident cats can get used to a new cat smell. Slowly introduce them you might see some hissing and spitting (that's normal and ok). I would not let them alone and unsupervised for the first few days but before you know they will be best of friends. Good luck and let us know how it works out.
