Who has started their Christmas shopping? Some stores started putting out Christmas everything in August, but mentioned it in July. Christmas isn't fun anymore-too commercialized. Greed takes place and many not knowing that it is always about family, a lot of food, thanking the Lord for another Christmas and of course that special gift . :rose:

I have started my Christmas shopping.....I will do most of it Online this year.
Some will be geared toward our daughter's upcoming wedding in January....so for the bride and groom I have wedding registries to check out and shop from.
I usually get lists from all the kids to help ease the shopping stress. I want to get them something they want/need rather than just "something" under the tree.

Seriously? I guess it is November, isn't it?
One grand-daughter has a biday this month, then a great-grandson next month, and oh gifts for everyone.
I am in hiding, pretending it is January 3rd.
Ha ha!

Mom's birthday is today, mine is Dec. 5th, sister is on the 20th. I can't think that far ahead!
-
Have not done any shopping for items yet.
-
No, I haven't started Christmas shopping yet. I am getting a list together and trying to figure out gift ideas for family and friends, though.
-
I did a little early in the year. But to my disappointment, my daughter is going to Europe during the holidays and just wants money. So I only have to shop for a much smaller family. Very sad for me since I love giving gifts.
-
No I haven't done anything yet. I just buy gifts for my hubby, mom and dad. My shopping will probably be done online.
-
I have one gift bought for a friend. Other shopping I'll probably start later this month. Luckily the people I shop for are easy.
-
i started mine in Febuary like i always do i hate go to shops when they are packed that's why all i got to get now is stocking stuff and 2 more gift's
-
I bought some toys this week. I buy them early so I can play with them before I give them away.
I have to make sure they're fun.

Past experience has informed me that purchasing Christmas presents (for the most part) ends in absolute disaster (i.e., wrong present, wrong size, etc.). So I made it easier on myself by either giving money or gift cards. :-)
-
I have yet to get started, it seems like I am always late.
-
I just finished with my son's birthday so I'm taking a break from any presents until the end of the month. If I see something that catches my eye I might get it now and save for later.
-
not me I hate shopping and will wait till the last minute as usual. why break a tradition LOL will do some online shopping in the comfort of my home and sofa :)
-
I do my Christmas shopping usually around the end of August. Because I can take my time and I can easily get what Im searching for, and I dont have to go through all that hassle searching what I needed, especially waiting on line. ;)
-
I wish I could. As usual, I have to bug everyone for their wish lists and usually don't get the one from the youngest grandson's parents until mid-December, which means most of what our grandson wants is sold out. It's too stressful. >:(
-
I also start right after Christmas, when they are getting rid of lots of excess merchandise for really cheap. Some things you know you will always need. Christmas pajamas, knit gloves, scarves and hats. I have about 15 kids (nieces, nephews grand kids) that I give an ornament to every year , so I always get them right after Christmas. Then throughout the year if I see something (especially on sale!) I put up items. :present: :present: :present: Then the money hit is not as hard as doing it all in maybe a 6 week time frame.
-
i usually have mine done by december..have waited on some things...i try to get a lot of stuff throughout the year..
-
not yet, I don't even want to think about it. I am really broke this year.
-
I actually just finished up my shopping for my boyfriend. Still have to get the rest of the family though!
-
I buy zero Christmas gifts - so yay, nothing to shop for. I buy myself a handful of things on Black Friday (online options only) or Cyber Monday, but nothing for Christmas.
-
yea, just a little
-
We started last Sunday, we went to an outlet bought gifts for nieces and nephews. Next time for husband and mother in-law.

I haven't started just yet. At the moment, I'm accumulating a list of who wants want. I'll probably do most, if not all, of my Christmas shopping online. I love Christmas and everything about it. It renews me each year to know that Christ is born. It gives me a happy and hopeful feeling for the future and makes me feel reborn.
-
I have bought only one gift so far. I got it at such a good price, I couldn't pass it up. I plan to wait until after Thanksgiving to purchase the rest of my gifts, though.
-
If cashing out my on-line groups points for gift cards is shopping, then yes
-
I wanted to start but with peoples bday and stuff its hard to get xmas gifts so i think im going to celebrate ukrainian christmas lol cheaper gifts and gives me more time!!!
-
I never start my holiday shopping before Black Friday.
-
I have only bought a couple of things. I don't have a lot to buy for. Mostly my daughter and my new grandson. I also have a few others to buy for.
-
Not me!
-
I shop for Christmas all year. When I see something I would like for someone to have for Christmas I purchase it. This is my favorite time of year. :present: :angel11:
-
I have, through the internet.
-
I shop all year for Christmas.
-
Not me. Too poor
-
I have not started shopping yet, but I might in a few weeks. I can't spend a lot this year but I have a few ideas. I've been having trouble thinking of what to get people. One of my paychecks is really close to Christmas day so I have to be careful when I shop this year.
-
I have, simply because I have five grands and do not need to wait until later.
-
I have a few gifts acquired. Doing pretty good at it ~ so far I have been out of pocket for any of the gifts. I have won some nice things in the sweepstakes I enter and have quite a bit of Amazon gift cards in my account from the survey I have taken on various sites.
-
Not quite but i'm looking forward to be doing it by the end of this month. :confused1: :confused1: :confused1: :confused1: :present:
-
I only have to buy a few more things & they will be bought on-line, making that simple!! It's such a relief to have it done ahead!!
-
I'm still waiting for the wish lists. I don't know why they wait so long. Sometimes I have a mind to not do anything for them (both son's families). It really gets to me because I get the one list 2 weeks before Christmas for the grandson (he's 7) and usually, everything he wants is sold out because it's so popular.
I'm tired of begging for their lists and I'm not doing it this year.
-
I've started, but I haven't gotten very far! I need to get a move on it.
-
My family really dont celebrate holidays but this year i saw so many nice clothes for cheap so i put a layaway down two weeks ago for my youngest to have a christmas.
-
Ha! I can't afford it... I'm unfortunate to not really have family... Yet fortunate to have a short Xmas list lol...
-
I bought a few christmas gifts at the purple cow in October 2015. :present: :present:
-
Well, does thinking about it count ??? lol, I went on a walk yesterday in early dark 7ish, and I seen 3 houses decorated for Christmas but 1 maybe was lit-up for Thanksgiving because the light colors were orange, yellow, green, brown. I seen a Christmas tree decorated in the window. Maybe people are extremely buzzed or working in the holidays and no time.
-
I have done some shopping online and have all my ghfts thought out. Some I won't order for a couple weeks. Maybe on Cyber monday ;D
-
Not yet, I am stress because I haven't safed a lot of money this year.
-
I haven't started yet. This year I'm leaning towards gift cards. I don't have the strength this year.
-

-
