I have to have something sweet everyday. I have taken different vitamins to help with the cravings, but sometimes they work and other times they do not. Anyone taking anything for sugar cravings?

sugar is so addictive nogood for me but im like you need some everyday

I do. Especially at night. I think some of my medications make me crave certain foods.

Yes. I have a huge sweet tooth. It's so addictive. Several months ago I went on a sugar free diet it was hard. We don't realize how much sugar is in our food.

I hate to admit but I love chocolate everyday.

My craving is usually for chocolate .. guess that makes me a choco-holic

All the time. Rarely does a day pass that I don't eat a dark chocolate bar. It's usually at night, around bedtime, that I want sugar the most. I don't know why. Cookies throughout the day too... I need to keep my eating habits in check!

I think the best way to stop those cravings is to AVOID sugar altogether cause soon your body will adjust to not having it and your brain won't miss it!!

i do i have some kind of chocolate in my home because basically for the kids but i will grab a piece at least once a day i also have mints out in a bowl

I like sweets but I don't know if I have cravings like you do. I like foods like cakes, pies, and cookies. I don't eat a lot of chocolate but I like sour gummy candy. I don't buy a lot because I would eat it all day. Plus my teeth don't agree with it.

I've been having sugar cravings a lot lately. SO i have to have something sweet every day and i try to make it something small so that i won't over due it

I do less sweets now than ever, I rarely want them except for an occasional cookie. Last night & today though....craving warm, gooey chocolate chip cookies. Probably because we got our first snow of the season & want comfort food. I made a mug of hot chocolate instead...it didn't help much. Still WANT those cookies!! :P

I don't take anything for it. But yesterday I was craving a sprite with peanut m&m's which I usually don't crave, but I do have something sweet daily.

I am a horrible sugar addict. If I can avoid all candies, cookies etc I feel so much better. But if some how I slip up and get started on them all is lost. For me it is has bad as any drug addiction would be. I am curious what vitamin(s) have been found helpful?

It seems I crave sugar in the winter and fall. I'm thinking it's a survival thing passed down to me from my ancestors.....trying to fatten up for the winter. LOL.

If I don't consume enough salt, then I get sugar cravings.

Yeah my sugar craving isn't usually in the form of candy or desserts. It is usually sugary drinks like teas.

Yes, when I am depressed or sad, I turn to sugar for comfort.

Yes, usually after ANY meal I eat! It's very bothersome, and sometimes I have to either have a small piece of candy or even a piece of gum to just get rid of the desire! Darn sweet tooth!

I don't eat sweets like I used to. I can have coffee and I don't need something to go with with. I guess it's a gettin' old thing.

I have them a lot and it scares me because I'm knowledgeable about the dangers of ingesting excess sugar. I drink 2 cups of green tea every morning, plenty of water, and put 1/3 cap of apple cider vinegar in my drinks to help balance it out.

I've heard this and it's my goal to not crave unhealthy foods- especially sugar. Sugar is so detrimental on the teeth, blood sugar level, and skin. I love working out, now if I detested unhealthy foods I'd be all set.

Oh! Cinnamon is said to be a natural sugar level decreaser. I also think it's fine to indulge a little every once in a while- deprivation will send you into a binge.

Or maybe try making healthier substitutions. For example, I've been eating a lot of sweet potatoes to get my sugar craving fix. Fruit are also good. You might want to try yogurt instead of ice cream and maybe making your own cookies and cakes so you can control the ingredients. Hope this helps!

Sugar isnt easy to stay away from its everywhere i just wish it was more pure cane sugar which the body can digest instead of the manufactured white sugar which the body cannot digest

Dark chocolate is my favorite. When the craving hits I eat it immediately.

I do. It seems the older I get the more that I have and I have never been one to dig sugar or desserts. I decided many years ago to be careful of my choices in meals and carbs due to that. I don't see any changes but I have desserts 3 to 4 times a week now lol

Honestly, "they" say you either crave salty or sweet. My issue has always been sweet. I have to just not buy them at the grocery store and keep them in the house. Otherwise, I just have no self-control!

I absolutely love white chocolate, perhaps more than dark, and it doesn't seem to be as bad on my skin.

I usually crave sugar at the end of every evening meal. It doesn't have to be a lot of sugar, one small piece of chocolate does the trick.

I have a sweet tooth....try to drink lots of water so you feel full sooner...

I love sweets, too bad my body loves it too LOL. Sweets are my downfall especially if it is my favorite.
