do you prefer sex before marriage or sex after marriage? :dontknow:
-
Both!!! LOL

Both!!! LOL

i think sex after marriage is more proper.
but premarital sex with someone you truly love
is a lot different than slutting yourself around.
:dontknow:

After!! I feel so much more at ease. Totally able to express myself and know that no matter what I will be loved.

Hmm you really do not know what a *bleep* is.
Just because you have sex before marriage is not in any way slutting yourself.
Hmm I wonder how many men or women one would have to sleep with to be slutting themselves around in your eyes?
DEFINITION OF *bleep*-a. A person, especially a woman, considered sexually promiscuous.
b. A woman prostitute.
AND if those who do not know what promiscuous means here ya are-1. Having casual sexual relations frequently with different partners; indiscriminate in the choice of sexual partners.
2. Lacking standards of selection; indiscriminate.
3. Casual; random.
4. Consisting of diverse, unrelated parts or individuals; confused
-
Both. It depends on how the person feels about themselves and their beliefs. To me sex is no big deal.

seriously? ::)
i believe the POINT that discardedheart was trying
to make is obviously crystal clear.

they are two completely different things, yes?
however, i don't think this meant that sex with someone
you do NOT truly love, in turn makes you a *bleep*. that's
not what she was getting at...
i suppose you just misunderstood.
...
back to the point:
for me, live with no regrets. and what that means,
is i'm not strutting my stuff around for just anybody.
sex before marriage is fine and dandy, but maturity
sure does help in taking responsibility for your actions

I guess ignorance is bliss
-
I believe that having sex before marriage is okay, but I personally think it's only okay to do with someone you love.
AmyTrivitt, neither of them are being ignorant. >_>;

I believe that people should only have sex after marriage, this is the proper way. A relationship is never guaranteed unless someone marries. In a way it's kinda slutty before marriage. I totally disagree with it and believe that if someone isn't married they have no right to have sex as the Bible says. If people were to follow this the world would be a cleaner place and have more morals also. Back in the past there were family values, no divorce. :)

Do you truley believe that if people did not have sex before marriage that there would be no divorce. That seems truley unrealistic to me. I do not have a problem with sex before marriage. At least you know if you and the other person are compatible sexually. Wow imagine what the divorce rate would be.... I can see it now top reason for divorce sexual incompatibility due to no sex before marriage.
Seriously, sex before marriage is not the worlds problem, we have way bigger things than that messing up the world!

I agree, that is extremely unrealistic. Also, people had marriage problems back then, the reason they didn't divorce near as often was because divorce was viewed as socially unacceptable.

I think I am on the conservative side but love is love and being intimate is always part of a good relationship. Marriage isn't right for everyone, but all should be able to enjoy sex with their partner.

thank you :)

ahh, AmyTrivitt, i'm perfectly clear on what a *bleep* is. i'm even familiar with the word promiscuous ^_^ but thank you for making sure that i understood. what exactly is it that seems 'ignorant' to you? the thread topic asked a question and i answered it. i really don't see any ignorance in cloudsoup's post either - she summed up what i was saying in an even more understandable way. apparently it touched a nerve with you, although i'm not sure why you'd care. i apologize for MY opinion, MY feelings, stepping on your toes.
have a nice day :)
-
I say you can be both as long as you are married or with someone for a while. You can't be conservative if you are out slutting around.
-
I don't care who you sleep with as long as it's not my husband! ;) So you shouldn't worry about my sex life either. :female:
