I recently cruised the Hawaiian Islands on Norwegian's Pride of America. This was a 7 day cruise leaving from Honolulu and returning to Honolulu. We visited three other islands and four other ports.
I took a lot of pictures and thought that I might post some beginning with the ship. Pride of America is a celebration of America, just as the name sounds.
The first and the third picture are of the atrium and the middle picture is my solo stateroom in blue / purple hues.

This ship leaves from Honolulu and returns to Honolulu. It is the only ship that does this route.

It was a great trip. The Pride of America is an older ship with none of the gimmicks of the newer or larger ships. There were no all night discos or gambling. It was very sedate which I was comfortable with. This cruise is more about the ports than the ship.

Just curious. How much did you pay for this cruise?

It was very expensive. My studio cabin was just over $2,000 but with taxes fees, insurance and gratuities, it came to about $2,500. And that was a good price. I watched for an off week because the studio cabins were more like $3,000 but his studio cabin had been discounted.
The entire vacation with plane fare, hotel, shore excursions, etc. came to around $5,000 just for me and that was on a budget.

I just went to the website and the studio stateroom are $2,699.00 for December and January. That is before taxes, fees, insurance and gratuities which cost a few hundred more.
