Title: WWE
Post by: JediJohnnie on December 15, 2015, 02:31:06 pm
Well, we don't have a topic for wrestling as of yet. But I'm about to change all that! So Roman Reigns finally took the heavyweight  title from Sheamus. And Dean Ambrose got the Intercontinental belt from Owens. Nice to see some of the "good guys" winning for a change.

It's been a while too for me, I haven't watched it in quite a while. My favorite wrestler was Sting.

I use to watch the WWF all the time when I was little. I use to really like the wrestlers from the 80s.

I thought Sheamus would hold onto the championship longer than he did.

Sheamus was always meant to be a transitional champ. Reigns wasn't receiving the pop the company wanted at Survivor Series; hence the cashing in of Sheamus' MIB contract. Interestingly enough, it took Mr.McMahon's appearance on RAW to finally push Reigns over the top.

I haven't watched WWE in a very long time. I do like to watch that Total Divas on the E network. I saw that Sheamus was cast as Rocksteady in the new TMNT movie.

I been watching WWF since the 80's, fun and exciting entertainment back then, When Vince McMahon was in charge of it all. I wouldn't miss it for the world. Now WWE is becoming so predictable, so obvious, you can tell who's going to win, how the fight's are going to be handled and whats going to happen next and it has become so boring since the authority took charge. I dont watch WWE like I use too, because it became so boring to watch the bad side constant wins. The crowd were usually on their feet /cheering for all that was happening back then, now a days these crowds, all they do is stay sited and if they're in the mood, maybe cheer a little bit. Lol. WWE isnt the same. "LETS GO ROMAN RIEGNS!!!

I used to watch wrestling back when Hulk Hogan was young. I guess I'm aging myself, I was a teen and I went to so many of the matches up in the midwest. I loved it! I remember Tito Santana (He was my favorite) Rock N Roll Buck Zumoth (Something like that) Andre the Giant, Blackwell, The shiek.....

I rarely watch WWE nowadays. My favorite wrestler (The Undertaker) wrestles on an extremely limited basis. So unless he is scheduled to appear, I do not watch. The last time I watched WWE on a regular/dedicated basis was in 2009. None of the "new generation" wrestlers 'speak' to me.

So it looks like Roman Reigns is going to have to win the Royal Rumble in order to stay the Heavyweight champ!

The only WWE programming I watch anymore is NXT, really. My faves moved onto the main roster - most of them anyway. But the cool thing about that brand is that just about anybody has a chance to move up. Triple H has something special there in Florida.

I used to watch wrestling when I was young.  My dad and grandfather would take me to the wrestling matches.  I got to see a lot of the "old" stars way back then!

Been watching some newer WWE matches... Disappointing to say the least... I think they are going the teaming route instead of working on individuality... Matches always end with some interference with the team, makes it hard to watch.. I wish they separated the branding for Raw and Smackdown since they don't give to much time to the talent of the lockeroom... To have Roman, Dean, and the Wyatt family on both programs seems like WWE is banking on the fact that they will do elevate the WWE. They will but it is to much exposure that makes them overrated (boring) and also limits the other superstars.. Other superstars have to team with other wrestlers to get the facetime. Kalisto shows a lot of promise and I hope the WWE give him the highlight match at the end of the program of Smackdown or something.. WWE needs more individuality
