When there is a holiday or 2 days off in a row because of a holiday, does it throw your week off? I find myself sometimes asking, what day is today.
-
Yes I do the same thing. I have to just my phone in the morning to see what day it is. I just hope I remember when I have to go back to work.
-
No because now I breath. Now I think about next time lol. After shopping ideas lol :silly:
-
Yes. It's 11:30am & I feel like taking a nap. Awful...
One more holiday event tomorrow & life [& eating habits] will resume back to my normal routine. :)
-
It doesn't to me or a lease I haven't notice.
-
oh yes they sure do,,,,,,,,,,,, :bad: ???
-
No, It never has. It maybe a little more hectic, but that is the fun part.
-
Oh,yes!For sure!
-
yeah the holidays seem to really change the atmosphere in terms of pacing.
-
Somewhat, but it's fairly easy for me to go back on schedule.
-
Yes!! My days have been so mixed up -- yesterday felt like Sunday to me -- I'll be glad to get straightened back out !!
-
No, not at all. I am pretty good at keeping track of the days, especially during the holidays.
-
I don't know about others but I do feel my days has been chaos since the break from school. The kids are just. too loud and the Xbox games seems to go non stop. I want to go back to the normal days again I want some me time so I can do things a little quietly and without interruption. It is a bittersweet but yes I need to go back to the normal routine.
-
The holidays don't seem to throw me off. But bad weather just seems to upset all thinking. It seems like when it is bad one day just runs into another. Get up and look out side and I go darn another day stuck in the house.
-
Yes it does, I'll be glad when I feel back to normal again.
-
Sometimes. A certain day of the week doesn't feel like that day whenever it follows a holiday, day-off from school, or a wedding, funeral, or vacation.
-
They don't throw me off schedule too much, but I like the break in the routine.
-
Yes especially when school is out, I get confused as to what day it is.
-
Absolutely! I love taking a break and enjoying the holidays but coming back to a schedule can be tough the first few days. Yesterday, I kept thinking "is it only Monday". LOL

Having a day off from one job usually means that I can work twice as hard at the other job. The teams at the company that pays for a holiday off generally become very scattered and production levels go way down. Management does not seem to care and it makes it hard for me to focus on my work. One good thing about holidays is that useless meetings are minimized. I had to take two weeks in December or I would lose the vacation benefit. It was really kind of nice. I spent time with my family and was only working about ten hours a day. It was really rough going back to work last Monday though. I spent one day returning phone calls and e-mails, another day planning the week and determining project completion points, and the last three days dealing with system issues.

It happens to be as well. I had a long holiday this year because i was off for 2 weeks so going back to work was a drag
-
Most of the time I'm not affected by holidays and just go about my regular schedule.
-
Yes somewhat. Any time my normal routine is altered it messes me up.
-
Seems like everyday is a holiday these days! :BangHead: :bootyshake:
-
Yes I have 2 weeks off at christmas. Love it.
-
I wake up late on holidays, and yes, they do throw me off schedule.

Yes! That happened after MLK weekend.
-
Oh yeah... it takes a while to shake it off too, huh? I feel like things are normal now.
-
With one of my jobs, yes. They don't tell us in advance exactly what days we will be getting off. The way they see it, if you have to work then you get paid for it & work comes before family time. It's aggravating because I really can't plan anything in advance.
-
Of course! Saturday i get ready for work because i think that next day is monday.
-
Sometimes...mostly cuz I dont want it to end. Need to have another day off :) Especially when i return to work in the middle of the week.
-
oh yes they most defintley do,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :star:
-
No, I haven't had that problem. Now sometimes thru the week I may get fuzzy about what day it is.
-
NO I welcome them.
-
It happened a few times but not that hard to get back up to speed.
