I love to swim in swimming pools!

I always did love to swim, but have to stay out of the sun.

I like to swim but I've always had a hard time holding my bread bummer. :-\

I've been swimming for so long that I don't really remember when I was taught how to swim... In fact my mom had started me in infant swim lessons, but got discouraged by it when they wanted the parents to let go of their infant and let them struggle to the surface on their own. I was swimming competitively when I was around 6 or 7 years old, and continued on a swim team all throughout school and college (although the last couple of years in college I turned to diving instead of swimming as the coursework got more difficult). The one thing that I like about swimming is that you are really competing against yourself, always trying to improve your own best time. It is very objective too having only the stopwatch to determine the winner; no worrying about a ref blowing some call that could cost you the game (esp. now that the sport has moved beyond relying on hand-timers, using electronic touch-pads instead).

Yes, swimming gives you a complete body workout!

I am not a good swimmer. Just can't seem to put my face in the water. people do weird things in the pool and fish do things in the water. So I just stay out. Besides I burn and it itches so bad. Also will get a bad heat rash from it.

I absolutely love to swim, always have. I've been swimming since before I can even remember. I love it so much that I sprung for a heated pool so I can swim year round.

I used to be a very strong swimmer and even saved a couple people who thought they were drowning. Now I swim like a rock. Frankly, when I get near the water, I am a rock. Still like hanging out at the beach, though.

I like going for a swim when it is really hot outside and water is really cold.
-
I would if I had a pool or a gym membership. I'm not too big on freeing weather either...
-
I love to swim. the water feels so good on my skin. Best exercise. It feels special when the pool is indoors lol. I have the best goggles. Never had good nose plug or good ear plugs.

i know how to swim a little..but i almost drowned as a kid,so im a little nervous being in the water
-
I think I would like to swim if I knew how to swim. I use to freak out when water use to get in my ears as a kid.
-
I do love to swim. It is one exercise I enjoy. I especially love it when the water is warm.
-
I love to swim in swimming pools and I love to swim laps for exercise.
-
I know how to swim and enjoyed swimming.

I enjoy swimming. I used to swim a mile each day. I got out of the habit when I changed jobs. It would be a good idea to take it up again.....but I have to convince myself that I can get up at 5am and work the 12 hour shifts after that....so far, I haven't been successful in convincing myself I can do that!

No, never learned to swim
-
I like swimming but I'd rather go in a hot tub if it isn't exactly swim weather.
-
I would love to learn how to swim. But the lack of time (and physical coordination on my part, LOL) does not allow me the opportunity to do so. I love to exercise and I am constantly on my treadmill during cardio days. But after while, the treadmill becomes a bit boring. I heard somewhere that swimming is an excellent and alternative way to maintain my cardio regimen.

I never learn to swim. I was always afraid of the water. Now I am 74 no use in learning. LOL. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe. :)
