Post by: hkckk5 on February 15, 2016, 07:53:08 pm: My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love seeing my 5 granddaughters faces light up when they open their gifts. Their smiles are priceless. Also love all the new pictures of them every Christmas with their pretty new clothes.

I just love the excitement of going out and getting things for people that I know are going to make them happy, and I love the glow of the colorful lights and the music. It's just like the whole Christmas season is full of peace and joy!

It was the beginning of the holiday season, no rushing around for gifts/sales/football.

It was about "peace" between two very different peoples....Pilgrims and Native Americans.

It was about thanking God for His provision.

I miss that. Not the same. I do love it though. My family close.
