I don't like to dust seem when I dust I finish then I need to dust again.
-
Don't have a least favorite don't like any of it.
-
Inarguably, my least favorite household chore has to be cleaning the bathroom...especially the toilet. Boo! I usually get someone else in my house to do it, while I do the "better" chores, such as vacuuming and washing dishes/laundry.
-
I agree with all of the responses ahead of mine, but I think the one I like the least is probably the easiest and quickest to do. The litter box.

I am with vg7405 -- I don't mind anything else, but cleaning the nasty toilet is WAY down on my list. The other thing I hate is putting my hand in cold greasy dishwater --- my husband usually does the dishes (with just 2 of us, it doesn't make sense most times to use the dishwasher) but he leaves the sink full of water when he's done. If I need to use the sink, I have to reach into the water to release the drain.... YUCKOOOOOOOO

I hate to dust, it just comes back the next day.
-
the toilet..i hate it...

The toilet

My least favorite chore would have to be the bathroom, especially the toilet. :monkey:

Cleaning the bathroom. Yuck!

The pots and pans. I think the Oven along with the fridge are almost the same. It just wear out your skin and your hands. I don't mind cleaning the bathroom. I would rather clean that instead of the fridge or the oven.

My least favorite chore is washing windows. We have a two story house with combination windows. It is a LOT of work to do this chore by myself.
One year, the kids and my husband gave me the BEST Mother's Day gifts ever.......we ALL washed the windows together. It made the chore "fun".......
-
I don't have any carpets in my house, all either hardwood or ceramic tile. What I hate is steam cleaning the floors and the next thing would be cleaning litter boxes and cleaning dog poop in the yard.

Dusting is wrong. People dust too often. You should only do it when you can write a love-note to your spouse in the dust. Do that a couple days, then consider dusting. Under no circumstance will you dust every week. Life is short. Don't waste it dusting.

I like cleaning the frige and pantree.

I agree with your sentiment bremer51! Life is short so don't waste it on some of the trivial things....yes, I dust and clean, but not fanatically!
I always liked the verse that included:
cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
But children grow up as I’ve learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs; Dust go to sleep!
I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep.

I hate cleaning the bathroom. It never seems to clean enough or stay clean long enough. :rose: :rainbow: :peace:

I gotta be honest and say I don't like cleaning of any kind. But my least favorite cleaning of all has to be around the toilet and the base of the toilet. I find some satisfaction cleaning the mirrors and wiping the sinks clean, but I have to dig down deep to muster up enough willpower to clean around the toilet bowls! Wet antibacterial wipes make the whole experience a little more pleasant but the whole deep-down clean thing I really struggle with. I find myself sitting in the chair, watching tv and "willing" the bathroom to clean itself, which of course it never does.

Cleaning the bathroom is the least favorite of mine. But really I hate cleaning up after my husband. He is a slob and I don't care how much I clean it always seems to be something. I can not wait to get rid of this old carpet . that will help with the dusting a lot. He just can not get it into his head about the carpet. But you cn bet when it comes time to steam clean it he disappears. Oh well he does not get it clean any way. It is so old. As soon as the weather permits me to have the windows open I am going to figure out someway to start ripping it up. Once I get some of it done he will hopefully help with rest. Then again.

Cleaning the shower. I have very hard water, and I even have to clean the the shower stall with a soapy pad like brillo.
Drives me nuts.
:rose:

cleaning a shower!!!

My least favorite chore is cleaning the toilet.

I hate cleaning the whole bathroom; not just the toilet! I find it disgusting! I put it off as long as I can and clean the rest of the house first, but, it always seems to still be there waiting for me!
-
I thoroughly enjoy paying my bills each month. I think dusting is on my "procrastination" list.
-
I'd have to agree with you. Dusting seems to never end. It's like as soon as I'm done, dust starts settling faster than ever. Having a dog makes things harder as well. If it's not dust, it's dog hair.
-
Yeah, i'm with everyone here, my least favorite would have to be the bathrooms (1 1/2). I pretty much made things a little better my buying a bluetooth speaker and playing whatever kind of music i was in the mood for at that moment. Usually, its going to be fast paced which will get me hyped up to finish the chore quicker.
Dusting...now thats not so much of a burden but as someone posted, it is annoying that you dust an area only to come back later to see a fine layer of dust. I own a townhouse with no central air so there is no filtration system to rely on to help capture dust particles. It was also built in the late 70's so there are some slight drafts from patio doors and so on. So i can see how dust just circulates around. The biggest dust attracter? My entertainment center but you cant avoid static attracting dust particles.

pretty much all of it .. I have to be in the mood to clean ... but when I am things are spotless

cleaning bathroom

I agree that the bathroom is my least favorite. It's dirty, :-X takes too long, I have to contort my body, and I have to get down on my knees, bend, and stoop to get it completely clean.

Funny you say that, i did a survey the other day which dealt with different styles of toilets. One design being the type that does not have the sides of the toilet exposed (you know the grooved out part that everyone has to "contort" their body to really get clean), i was real quick to choose that one as one i would gladly spend a little more to have for the convenience of saving my back.[/size]

1. Washing dishes
2. Cleaning the stove
3. Cleaning out the refrigerator
4. Cleaning the bathroom

Cleaning the bathroom for sure. And vacuuming. I don't mind sweeping or wiping down the kitchen.
-
My least favorite household chore is cleaning the bathroom. I don't like cleaning the bathroom because of the cleaners I have to use and it takes a while to clean it good. I have four little boys who our messy. I also don't like all the bending and scrubbing. I would pay someone to clean my bathroom if I could.
-
Mine has to be laundry. I have three kids, so I do at least two loads a day, and it never stops.
-
Cleaning the toilet for sure.
-
Ironing my husband business clothes.
-
I hate to dust it just comes right back.
-
My least favorite chore, really the only one that is a pain, is cleaning one of my bathroom's floor... it is separated into a toliet/shower area & a vanity area & the toliet area is rather small & I have to get on my hands & knees to clean it. A pain... especially since the cat litter box is in there.
-
I guess drying the dishes is. I do it everyday and if I had to pick one, I guess that would be it.
-
To cut back on household expenses I clean the wooden floors at our house. We used to drop eighty to one hundred dollars every three weeks to have a house cleaner come in. She would do a great job but we have a son in private high school (cha ching) who plays a sport in a competitive circuit (cha-ching-ching) and has started driving a little aggressively (insurance cha-ching-ching-ching). We figure that his bills for the year will be roughly thirty nine thousand dollars. We also have a daughter in one of the top five engineering colleges in the country (tres expensive even with a huge scholarship) as well as being part of a sorority. All that being said-I do not like to clean the floors but it is a necessary concession (I do the toilets as well). I am somewhat obsessive compulsive so the floors get done much better than when the cleaning lady did them, any ways.

I hate wiping the house down for dust. It's so messy and disgusting.

Cleaning the bathroom is definitely my least favorite part of house cleaning, but it has to has to be done. I actually somewhat enjoy the laundry, at least the part where you pull out the fresh and warm clothes. That's a very comforting feeling somehow.
-
my least favorite household chore is washing the dishes
-
pretty much any kind of cleaning .. but it has to be done whether I like it or not

Reading the above posts reminds me that I hate all of it. If I had to choose one it would be the fridge.

My least favorite household chore is cleaning the bathroom, especially when you live with boys on pee everywhere and stink up the bathroom.
