I like to buy the new ones that come out each month, I stick with the $1,$2,$3 and sometimes $5 dollar tickets.
This past week I bought the $1,00 Beginners Luck tickets. I won $20.00, then $10.00, then $10.00 again. I won about $10.00 over what I paid.

i use to buy instant lottery tickets i bought so many of them until i won my $34 back and never played them again.
-
I recently won $30 doing a scratch off lotto ticket.
-
To me buying lottery tickets doesn't pay. once or twice I have won a dollar. Lots of my friends like them. for their birthday I may give them money to buy lottery tickets but I won't buy them the tickets. I am definitely not a risk taker. :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

i have been playing for 20 years off and on and last year I( actuly hit one of the big priizes. so im going to keep playing.
-
Nah Id rather spend my money on things like toys because those thing retain their value.
-
I never play the lottery or gamble for that matter. The odds are to great for me to waste my money on. :moneymouth:
-
I always buying to win some money.
-
I do occasionally, but I won't get one for less than $10. And I will only buy one of those when they have one where the highest prize is $1 million. I don't play the lottery to win $100.
-
yes, best chance! :clover:

I generally don't buy scratch offs. I usually buy Mega Millions and a PowerBall here and there. I like to buy tickets when I go to different states as well.
-
I like to buy them every once in a while. I usually don't win, but it's still fun!
-
I try but often forget to. I got to get in the habit of doing that.
-
I used to but very rarely now. Maybe once in a blue moon if I ever remember.
-
I don't buy any lottery tickets
-
No. Waste of money.

I usually don't and by usually I mean next to never. My dad buys them and has lost way more than he's won and refuses to listen to me when I ask him if he sees a pattern here. To those of you who have the same problem but might listen to reason I offer this idea. Why don't you take that dollar or two dollars and put it into an envelope, call it scratch ticket money or something so that after a month, instead of having nothing, you'll have thirty dollars! when I feel lucky, I play for money on GSN or winloot. Both sites are free and if you never win (like me) at least all you'll lose is time. I should add, at least on GSN I have won the first season of Happy Days on dvd and a bag of candy corn pumpkins which still beats playing lottery and scratch tickets.

Very proud of ya ::)

Thanks for that Common Sense approach to the Lottery and I agree completely. I hate waving bye bye to my money. We do go to the Casino for the buffet once in a while and I just shake my head at all those SUCKERS pushing those buttons so fast. Even if they win, you know where it will end up. How can that possibly be entertaining? I stick to clicking my mouse where I KNOW I will win every single time.

It's been years since I've bought a scratchoff ticket, or any kind of lottery ticket. I'm not a gambler; I'd rather have the actual money in my hand than a very slim chance of winning some.
-
Lol it's been along time since I did
-
Yes. Sometime I just want to have a quick pick.
-
yes i do because i like to test my luck
-
I don't buy lottery tickets at all, if I won big i'd be hooked and that not a good thing
-
I dont tend to buy lottery tickets unless there is a big draw then I might purchase a ticket just for the heck of it,even tho I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning. But then u cant have any chance of winning by not buyng a ticket, I knew someone who won a million dollars of a scratch ticket.
-
Yes, I do. I try to buy one or two every payday for the fun of it and sometimes I am lucky and win a few bucks.

I never buy lottery tickets, but my husband does. I like your suggestion of putting the $2-$5 or whatever it is that he spends on those lottery tickets into an envelope. A night out for meal would be ever so much more enjoyable!!

I buy lottery tickets every once in a while. I usually stick with the $1 and $2 tickets. I take spells with how much I win. Most of the time I don't win anything, other times it may be 1, 2, 5, or 20 dollars. The most I ever won from a scratch ticket is $100.
-
I do the quick picks yes, I buy two a week most of the time for the Power Ball. Better check my numbers from last night.
-
I usually stick to the 1-2 dollar tickets
