Title: Anybody else have a Problem getting the Radio Loyalty page to work? Please Help
Post by: MichelleHW101 on April 20, 2016, 01:17:06 am
Problem with Radio Loyalty I had to get a new harddrive and had Windows 10 hone addition installed.  The possessor is an AMD A6-3650 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.60 GHz.  As for Ram I’ve got an 8.00 GB (7.49 GB usable).  Google Chrome is the search engine which automatically updates itself but if I am going to ‘try and use’ Radio Loyalty I check for Google updates then clear out the browser history then I log into Fusion Cash and click the radio loyalty tab.  Now if I hadn’t used it for months on end, it will work fine twice but then on the third attempt the signal bar fights to stay full and then with 5-10 minutes left in my half-an-hour it all of a sudden restarts itself.  Now when I have the Radio Loyalty window open, it’s the top window (being over the fusion cash window tab) and I never minimize the window.  If I do anything else with the computer when Radio Loyalty is on, it always a Microsoft program, generally Word (either 2007 or 2013) or PowerPoint.  Nothing else.  And if I am working on a Microsoft program I have both windows in a side-by-side mode so both are clearly visible.  If I get one Radio Loyalty half-hour to work I immediately close both the fusion cash window and the Radio Loyalty window then reopen both.  Sometimes that will get me more than two other times it doesn't make a difference.

So I think I’ve found out why I’m having problems with Radio Loyalty.  It’s the shockwave player.  I was actually doing the CB Coupon Buddy videos and got the error message that a plug-in (shockwave player) stopped working.  Now unlike radio loyalty that just reloads (ergo you just wasted however many minutes you were into the half-hour and have to start again) you can just hit the stop button next to the error message and the page loads for you to go to the next one.  A second message to reload pops up but the page works fine once you hit the first button so I usually ignore the second message.  Now the shockwave doesn’t always fail every single day but once it starts to fail it will fail the rest of the time you try an use a page that needs it to work like Radio Loyalty or the CB slide shows.  I’ve switched from Chrome to FireFox but the shockwave player, once it feels like crashing, it does.  One thing I have noticed is that a page like Radio Loyalty and the CB slide show is littered with sidebar ads (my guess is that’s why it needs the shockwave player to work) and it will lock up if a particular ad (usually one of those video ads) does not load properly.  And like I said, once that happens it’s a pain on Radio Loyalty because you’re back a zero even if you were almost at 30mins.  At least with the slide show you can keep going until you get past page ten and you don’t lose anything.  So as much as I’ll miss Radio Loyalty I can’t use it as long as my shockwave player crashes the window.  The shockplayer I have is the one 'embedded' with Chrome and the only one I have.  I don't know what Firefox uses but like I said, that one didn't work either.

The shockwave player I’m using is the one that comes with the latest version of chrome (for Windows 10).  It updates itself automatically and whenever I check manually for updates I always get the message that I have the latest version.  I’ve gone onto forums with the same issue and they’ve gotten no help from Google.  So even Google has no idea how to fix their own problems.  They claim when you have two to turn one off.  No one even has two to start with (I know I certainly don’t).  Then they tell you if you don’t have two to manually download the adobe one so that you will have two.  From there turn one off and see if it works and if it don’t then try the other one.  In most cases they work the same (i.e. they both crash).  So I honestly have no idea how to work pages that use the Shockwave player like Radio Loyalty.

There just has to be a sidebar ad that’s locking up my shockwave player.  It usually works fine and I’ve noticed it’s the same video ads that lock it up.  I just don’t think there is any way to block the video ads that cause the shockwave player to crash.

I quit trying the Radio Loyalty a long time ago.  It seemed like I had problems with my computer when I was trying to earn money through it.

I know facebook games have slowly been changing so they won’t use the Shockwave player because it fails so often.  I wish Radio Loyalty would do the same.  If I disable the shockwave player the Radio Loyalty page doesn’t even load.  It doesn’t work properly if I use the ad blocker instead.  I don’t think there’s a way to stop certain ads from appearing on the page—I mean the ones you can pinpoint that cause the page to lock up then reload.  The op-out doesn’t stop the ads just stops advertising based on your browsing history.

That shockwave player drives me nuts! I haven't had any problems lately with RadioLoyalty, so I guess whatever version of Shockwave I have is playing nicely with my browser for once. I use Firefox; have you tried using other browsers besides Chrome?

I used to love using Radio Loyalty, but it kept crashing and as a result barred me from using it. Oh well. ::)

I find RL to be hit or miss. Sometimes it's good for a while and then it returns to being bad. I haven't done it in a few weeks because it started to get bad again. FF seems to be the only browser that works for RL on my end.

It worked fine about a week ago...now I have trouble with it again. at the bare minimum, I used to get $0.18+bonus every day...now I'm lucky if I get $0.03. I agree, it's a hit or miss...nothing in between.

I tried it twice since I signed up in January and it does not work for me. I just try to focus on qualifying for the survey's. I have better luck with the videos if the surveys are not working out for me.

Hasn't worked for me in a couple of weeks either.  For a while it was very consistent.  I get frustrated with it because it's not reliable so I just check in with it every few days.  Can't figure out any rhyme or reason to it.
