We have lots of cats that stay indoors. One of them, the oldest, used to be entirely outdoor, then indoor/outdoor, and now indoor only since he's aging and there's just too much danger out there. We already lost an outdoor cat a couple years ago to what appeared to be poisoning. :'( Keep your animals safe, guys! :cat: :dog: Make sure they wear collars, are all up to date on shots, and there's no meanies in your neighborhood who will set out poison. Keep your eye on them.
-
Yes we have three that stay in the house. Two cat sisters who have always stayed in the house - house cats live longer I read, also we live on a busy road where everyone speeds, and our little shih tzu stays inside also.
-
My two kitties are indoor only, I don't want them getting bit by bugs, hit by a car, kidnapped by someone etc. its just to dangerous out there! I like knowing that my furry angels are happy, safe and sound.
-
My cat has been an indoor and screened porch cat forever. My dog is indoor and outdoor. She sleeps at night inside for sure and is in and out throughout the day to use the bathroom and play in the yard.
:cat: :dog:

I have 2 cats that are both indoors all of the time (unless they escape -- little Ratters is VERY quick to sneak outside when he sees his chance!) My dog also stays inside most of the time, although like all dogs, she does get to go outside to exercise and to go to the bathroom. We have a stake and lead that we clip her to so that she can be outside without having to be on a leash. Unfortunately she's not like my previous dog in that if she's loose, she'll go running off; Joni, my previous mastiff, knew the yard's boundaries so I could just open the front door and she'd stay in the yard while she went about her business.
-
We have two outdoor cats, but they come in to eat, and also when it's very cold out. I do have several fish in two fish tanks, so I guess they would count as indoor pets.

We have 4 cats and they NEVER go outside. I can't tell you how many beautiful cats I see lying dead in the middle of the street because people don't keep them indoors. What's the point of having a beautiful cat or dog as a pet if you're just going to let them out to fend for themselves, and perhaps get attacked by another animal or get run over, anyway?
-
No, do not like pets in the house. I have a dog who lives outside.
-
I have one dog that loves to go out, but mostly he wants to be inside. The other dog hardly ever wants to come inside, unless it's too cold. In the winter he stays out most of the day, but comes in for the night.
-
Our three cats are indoor cats.
-
I have a mostly indoor cat and two dogs that go in and out. I care for dogs and they mostly stay outdoors in the cooler temps and indoors when it's hot.
-
No pets for me.
-
Our cat, Muggles, is an indoor/outdoor cat. We knew from the first day we got him he would have to go outside. Before we starting letting him out he would jump on our back screen door and hang there meowing.........let me out, let me out. He does really well, he's not a fan of the front yard, I think the cars scare him. Our dog, Midas, is in and out but mainly an indoor dog.
-
we have a stray cat that took up here...max is an indoor/outdoor cat...he's learning to stay indoors...still prefers the outside

I don't have a pet. Too much upkeep and it's all about me.
-
Yes.
I have a Ragdoll Cat he stays inside. I tried to put him on a leash/harness so I could take him outside, but he wasn't having it. So that was that.

I have 4 cats and they all stay indoors. I would never dream of letting them out. "Outside" is where they all began their lives. Now, they're treated like "royalty," LOL. Love my Kittehs!

Hello to everyone out there in Fusion Cash World:
No, I do not have a pet that stays inside my home. However, when my mom was still with us (God bless her soul) she used to have a beautiful gray colored cat, which used to stay outside of her home.
Smokey was the name I gave to this feline and he was very cuddly, soft and cute!
-
We have an outdoor dog. I really wish he could be an indoor dog. He seems fit to be one. My parents just dont like the idea of having a dog live in the house sadly.
-
I have two hamsters which, needlessly to say, rarely go outside. Everything they need is in their cage (e.g., roller ball). I do plan on getting a small dog, however, for some better companionship (possibly a Yorkshire Terrier).
-
Yes I have 2 of them they are cats they don't go out at all.
-
Yes my Yorkie stays inside unless he has to go to the bathroom or I take him for a walk. But if we are outside then he will come out with us for a few.
-
My boston terrier is very much an indoor dog. We take him out for walks and to do his business.

-
We keep our cat indoors for most of the time just because there's too much traffic outside. He will go outside if it's relatively quiet but only for an hour at the most. Otherwise he will sit outside on our deck.
-
No I do not because I don't have a pet
-
Yes I have two dogs that love being in my house and rarely go out unless they have to pee or poo.

I have a cat and the only time she has been outside was on the porch and she did not like it. She only wants to be in the house and they is the way I want it also.
-
Yes. My 4 goldfish stay in their aquarium inside my house. :) Also, I have two wonderful dogs that stay in the house but get plenty of time outside on walks and playing in the back yard.
-
I have an indoor cat, who I never allow outside
I have two dogs that only are outside to go to the bathroom or play when Im with them
-
We have a cat and a dog, both of which love to spend time outside, but the dog doesn't so much like being outside in the blistering heat, whereas the cat will find herself a shady spot before loosing the battle to coming inside. I let them go out whenever they like, and I let them stay outside as long as they like. Of course sometimes the cat comes home with her fur all matted from laying in the sappy grass and the dog sometimes gets thorns in his feet (we live in a desert state), but they are free! :dog: :cat: :) What more could they want?
-
We have had a number of strictly indoor house cats over the years -- there are just too many bad things that can happen in this neighborhood to outdoor cats.
-
My dog is an indoor dog.
-
I currently have 2 house cats. At one point we had 3 cats and a dog but one of the cats and the dog have passed on due to age issues. My cats now are 15 and 13.
-
Both of my dogs sleep indoors.
-
I have 4 dogs and 3 cats, 2 of my dogs stay out during the day when I'm not home in our fenced yard, they are too high sprung and need to run. Our cats go in and out as they please, they eat inside but don't like to use the inside litter box, they like to use the field for that.
-
I have 2 cats that are quite content to stay in the house .. heat in the winter .. AC in the summer .. Life is good !!
-
I have a dog, she was given to me when she was about 1 1/2 years old, and she came trained to use newspapers. She loves going out for walks but she is home always, she sleeps with my daughter and she will be sleeping with my grand baby too when she is born, so she will be home even more now
-
I have an inside cat :cat: and an inside/outside :dog:
My cat just goes out on the enclosed deck, but my dog comes and goes in and out throughout the day.
-
I have two dogs and they both have time through the day outside and time to relax inside. At night they come in to sleep. I have never let them sleep outside but they have never stayed but the door acting like they want to be outside either.
-
I also have an indoor cat. She never goes outside. I don't want her to go outside because I don't want her to have ticks and fleas. She doesn't like the outside.
-
I have a dog that's outdoor. I wish he could live inside the house, but I can't unfortunately.
-
we have a 12 year old cat that is an indoor cat. we don't "let" him go out but if he can squeeze past us out the door he will run out in a heart beat.

-
I have a mix yorkie that stays in the house.
-
My cat and dog come in and out of the house as they please .... they have a pet door
-
I have two male cats and one female and NONE of them goes outside. My theory is if you love your pets you will protect them and by letting them out to roam all sorts of nasty things can happen so, therefore, I don't let them out and they seem just fine with no desire to go out.
-
I take care of a couple nice dogs when their parents holiday as my business and the dogs stay inside during the heat of the day and at night...
