Title: Do you have any odd sayings?

My mama used to say that you shouldn't buy a watermelon until after the 4th of July, because they aren't any good until then. Do you have any odd tid bits like this or sayings?

I've never heard that before. And I really can't think of anything like that. I'm sure a few will come to me if I think of it long enough!

Yes, when there is a lot of drama and confusion going on, I sometime say My name is West and I'm not in this Mess!!! Meaning I want to be left out of other people's drama/issues.

Whenever my hair is greasy, I say "My hair is greasy grimy gofer-guts" and that's because my Mom said it, lmao. And if things are out of place, they're "skiwampus-ed." Thanks, Mom and Dad, lol.

my favorite saying to keep myself from swearing is "Shoot fire, save matches"
