I want to go to different thrift stores. The ones around where i live
are Value World and Salvation Army. Another i g to once in a blue moon is rescue treasures, which is on the
Other side of town, they use to have real great deals, but lots have changed.

I thrift shop every week. Our church has a new one, open only onTues,Thurs. And check out a thrifting channel on YouTube occasionally.
-
No because it is too hard for me to walk around. My son went to one the town over from us though a couple of days ago and got a beautiful jewelry box that was also a music box for an awesome deal. We have Goodwill in our town but it isn't as good as some in other towns.
-
When I'm on vacation I like to visit thrift shops.
-
No, I haven't been in a theft store in years and the store near my home never really had anything good. Maybe some time in the future I'll go check out what they have and see if anything improved.
-
Yes indeed. Love thrift stores. But usually only go with lots of time. The one nearest my house is getting more expensive though.
-
I love Unique and Value village. Haven't been lately. I hope to go soon.

I go sometimes, when we are out of town. Once you have gone to the one we have in our small town you have seen it all. When we have to take an elderly friend to the doctor next month we are going to go to a large goodwill there. Just have to print the map off. It is easy on and easy off the freeway. I am always on the look out for craft items. today we stopped at a couple of yard sales on the way out of town to see dad. One lady gave me a lot of floral leaves for fall for $3.00 and the price tag said $13.99 on 4 pieces of the 7. then we stopped at another one and there was a grape vine i wanted and she said i could have it. Boy those deals are great. Now i have something else to work on until hubby gets me a couple more gourds cleaned. I like having 3-4 sitting on the table at the same time so i don't don't waste my dye and paint when it is just a small part needing painted of one color.

I still like to thrift store shop. It's cool to find stuff they stop selling new!
-
They are definitely valuable...haven't been to one in a while...
-
I haven't in a while. The last few times I haven't found much I was interested in.
-
I volunteer at a local thrift shop that provides scholarships for high school seniors. There are always lots of great finds clothes, shoes jewelry, books, housewares etc. Lots of great deals. Sometimes I need another paying job when I volunteer. :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

As often as I can
-
I bought a bakers rack for the bathroom a couple of months ago. At good will.
-
I used to not like thrift stores because I had a hard time finding clothes that fit my style, but since being in the ones downtown, I like them a lot and appreciate how cheap they are. Definitely wanting to go on a spree soon!
-
Yes I have. I really love thrifting for clothes. It's fun and cheap.
-
not in a while
-
i like to just go in the goodwill store and look they have some good bargains also have a seniors day
-
I haven't been thrift store shopping in weeks... I love going because i can find me some nice things.
-
I enjoy going to different thrift stores whenever I'm able and I really notice a difference in the quality of merchandise when I go up to Seattle. There are so many thrift stores there, the prices are more expensive, but the quality is much better than where I live in Idaho. I bought some Adidas shorts for my son for about $8 which is more than the $3 or $4 I get charged in my home town. But these shorts looked brand new. In fact I do recall them having the original tags on! There's something about recycling clothing and household goods that sits really well with me. Gone are the days when we throw good items away just because they don't fit, or we have purchased something better. It goes onto a worthy new family that feels like they have purchased a bargain! I love it.
-
I haven't but have been wanting to go. My mom and I would go a lot when I was a child.
-
I find some great deals in the local GoodWill store! I get a lot of complements on the clothes I get from there! Most people don't know they come from GoodWill!
-
I love thrift stores and go every month or so.
-
We have a local one called Impact .. I have not been there lately but have gotten some good deals in the past.
-
Yes I go at least once a month, my youngest daughter loves them she spends hours inside of them and finds good stuff. Lately I have been going to get clothes, especially pajamas, for now 6 months old grand son, baby clothes are expensive and they use it only twice or three times and then don't fit anymore so they are really worth it to get at Thrift shops, they are almost new.
-
I try to shop once or twice a year at my local thrift store. It is a very busy place.
-
I have not, i would like to. I have been donating as I clean out my closet and house, though! I guess it wouldn tmake sense to go to the one i have been donating to, it will be all my stuff on the shelves, lol.
-
Not lately.
-
I tend not to buy shirts at our goodwill, when they put the tags in the clothes they tend to make holes in them. Anything else is ok though, But some new jeans there recently.
-
I went to the thrift shop today I wanted to get a thank you card and plaque for a friend.
-
Yes. My daughter and I went to GCf a couple of weeks ago looking for shorts for my grandsons. We also go to stores that sell baby clothes looking for clothes for my 9 month old grandson.
-
a few of ours have closed. We have some clothing thrift stores open but, not the same. TO me when dollar stores and thrift stores clothes the economy is not booming.
-
Not lately, though I enjoy doing it! It is a fun thing to do.
-
I very rarely go to any thrift stores around here, because most of them are too expensive, and the one cheap one usually doesn't have much of a selection.
-
I haven't even been shopping for a while. My expenses have increased over the last few months months so I am trying not to spend a lot of money. I vowed this summer not to buy any clothes at all. I have to many as it is even with giving away some. I get a lot of clothes from thrift stores but I am staying away.
-
I was cleaning my garage today and three people stopped and came up my driveway and asked if I was having a yard sale. I guess they were looking for a bargain.
-
I haven't been to thrift stores this summer because I have enough clothes for the summer and I know that I will be saving some money because I won't be buying clothes. But I will probably be going this fall because I like sweaters and different color turtlenecks.

I was cleaning my garage today and three people stopped and came up my driveway and asked if I was having a yard sale. I guess they were looking for a bargain.
I accidentally did this too... I went around to different garage sales and in one area, they had a neighborhood garage sale (where several of the neighbors held their own sale; not a large sale for the entire neighborhood) so when I saw this one house with its garage doors open and a bunch of stuff sitting in the yard, I automatically assumed that it was a garage sale and not just someone cleaning out their garage.
I tend to go to more garage and yard sales during the summer. I usually only go to thrift stores around the holidays: around Halloween for costumes and around Xmas for Ugly Sweater parties. The last time I went to thrift stores was early this year right before my birthday. Since I turned the big 4-0, I decided to host an 80s party, and went to thrift shops looking for stuff for the party. One of the main things I was looking for were cassette tapes of major 80s artists; I had seen a Pinterest post about gluing the cassette cases together to form a rectangular vase, which we then filled with candies and small toys related to the 80s (eg mini Rubix cubes, Sour Patch Kids, etc.)
-
No not lately, I use to go all the time, but I really don't need anything.
-
I've been wanting to go for a while, especially to check out the fitness DVDs.
-
haven't been to any thrift stores lately but if my mom is going anywhere with me, she loves to go. she has found some pretty good deals on household décor at times.
-
My girlfriend makes me go all the time with her to Goodwill and the Salvation Army. I probably am too snobby to just go on my own. The funny thing is that I always spend more than she does on our outings.
Gazillions of people are shopping at these kind of stores now. It's a sign of the times.

Hi. Yes, I actually bought my new brown colored purse, which is a really good purse because it has a bunch of compartments to put my stuff inside of it and anyways I purchased my purse after the worship service on Sunday at the Goodwill store!
-
I don't shop from thrift shops. I can't see myself wearing clothes that others have worn. Creepy and unsanitary. For the most part people are really filthy.
-
