I noticed that a lot of my family and friends use the fitbit or something similar to encourage being more active. What do you do?
-
I use an UP band. I am not into all the functions and i don't continually wear it. But I do wear it when I exercise so I can see how many steps & how much time i am active.

My sister wanted to get me one for Christmas, did not want her spending that much on me. So she got me a simple, talking pedometer. All I need is my distance, clock.
She bought herself a Fitbit, and Grandmother in law. She keeps saying she should've bought me one too.
-
No, but it would be nice to have one. :) Those things can be expensive, though. Even used ones on ebay are out of the budget for me.
-
All the time! It's a good motivator. I used to have a Fitbit Charge, but got a Blaze for my birthday. Worth it!
-
Yes I have one and love it. It keeps track of my steps and I try to always reach a certain level every day.
-
I don't, but my sister does and likes it!
-
My husband uses a fitbit...he loves his. He works as a prison guard and since it's not metal he can wear it while he works. I usually keep my phone in my pocket and it keeps track of my steps.
-
No, I just use a pedometer to track my steps. I looked into getting a fitbit but they are a little costly, so unless I can find a really good deal on one, I will just continue to use the pedometer for now.

Hello Mr. SingletonB and everyone else out there in fusion Cash world
No, I do not use a fit bit whatever that is.
to stay in shape, I just do a lot of walking, at least, every other day!
-
No and even if I constantly hear the name, I haven't ever seen this "live" yet.... have many other tools... don't think I would even use it if I had it
-
I seem to know more and more people that have one. I don't feel the need personally, but I do appreciate them if it motivates people to be more active.
-
No I do not use a Fitbit. I do a lot of walking at my job. Some days I think it would be interesting to know how many steps I actually took in that day. Just not curious enough to purchase a Fitbit.
-
heard of em but never owned one.
-
No, I don't think I even know what that is. I'll have to look it up since I recently started working out.
-
Nope, but I use an app on my smartphone that tracks all that I want to track--- from steps, to calories, to time spent, to heart, and would do nutrition if I signed into it. I see no use spending the extra money when everything is already available if you have a smartphone.

no

What is it?
-
yes I have a Fit Bit I use to count my steps, my sleep time and count calories if I remember to add them LOL But its mostly used just for counting my steps. Although it would like me to get 10,000 steps in a day,,,, that will never happen lol the most I have ever done is 5000.

I don't use a fitbit but I do use an app on my phone called s health. (Samsung Health) My husband and I just got new phones and these apps were pre installed. I really like it because it can track so many things. Seeing how many steps I take each day and how many calories I burn does motivate me.
-
No I don't have one. I will use my phone sometimes to track my step count.
-
I do! I got the Charge HR through a work discount. Having it on keeps me motivated to move.
-
I used to have a fitbit. I didn't like having to charge it so often so a year and a half ago I switched to the Garmin vivofit. Very similar and runs off of a watch battery.
-
I have used a fitbit for about a year and I love. Chart my steps so I can compare day to day.
-
I don't use one but my boys and their grandma and other cousins all have one. They are having a competition on who burns the most calories. and they tally them up towards the end of the week. I don't see myself ever wearing one.
-
I want to purchase a fitbit. Unsure what one I should purchase.
-
I used to wear a FitBit about 2 years ago when they first came out. I did like it, and it did help me lose weight. But it had to be charged too frequently, and overall I felt like it just wasn't cutting it for me, so I stopped wearing it. Now that I am trying to lose some weight again, I have been using the "S Health" app on my Samsung phone, which tracks my steps, shows the calories burned, and even helps me keep track of my meals.
-
That would be a NO for me since I don't know what in the world is a fitbit. ;D
-
My kids have them and I wear theirs once in a while - I always say I am going to buy myself one, but then don't!
-
ive wanted one.but none of them will match up to my cell phone
-
I don't have a fitbit but I have something similar to it that I wear that tracks everything and my sleep pattern. And it's about 60 dollars cheaper lol.
-
I don't have one but I've heard of it. I think it's a good idea for those just starting their fitness journey.
-
I didn't know it counted calories too, that's pretty cool.

I bought something like a fitbit recently for $13 in Amazon, it works good and has most of the functions that the fitbit has, I like it at least it helps me with the steps count and the sleeping hours, very helpful

I love my Fitbit Blaze.
