Interesting move, though I'm not too surprised I guess...looks like they are the team to beat next year (PS - my brother said he saw Steve Kerr at the beach yesterday...in Hawaii)

I am not surprised either, although I was really hoping he would choose to join the Boston Celtics. I thought they had a strong chance considering Durant previously tried to convince Al Horford to join him in OKC and just last week Horford signed with Boston.
I remember when Boston and Miami were two of the top teams in the east and not long after getting eliminated by the Heat, Ray Allen bolted Boston for Miami. The feeling of betrayal in Boston was huge when many expected Ray to re-sign with the Celtics. Ray was a key part of that Celtics team, but far from its best player. But to go to the hated Heat who just beat Boston was hard to swallow. Kevin Durant as OKC's best guy moving over to GSW is like that only more so!

I'm excited for this move. Love KD and I think Golden State will be hard to beat with him!

We'll see if GS can win a championship with KD on the team.

I was hoping he would sign with Boston also. We'll see how this plays out on the court. Should be interesting.

I just think it is ridiculous how people are talking bad about him for it. I have heard people say that it will hurt/ruin his legacy. Yet the same people say it would hurt/ruin his legacy if he never wins a championship. Crazy to me.

hey cant blame him for trying to win title

He gave that team 9 years (almost a decade) if I'm not mistaken. I think it's a smart move if he ever wants a ring. People that are criticizing his decision are not in his shoes...Like I said, he gave them NINE YEARS!
