We all know there is an app out there for download called "Pokemon Go" and it is supposed to get you off the couch and help you go find these Pokemon's right. What I want to know is would you ever play this game or not?
-
Yes !!!! i love this game ;D ;D ;D
-
No, but I am sure amused by the people around me who have been.
-
I know people who are playing it, but I myself don't have time for this.
-
I would love to play it if I had something to play it with.
Just a quick question on it, does it use up your minutes to play?
-
I downloaded the app for the the kids on my phone, we played last night, well more like they played I just went along for safety, but it was fun!
-
No time to run around and play games with this app. Got to work and pay the bills.
-
i will its a fun game
-
I'm thinking about trying it!
-
No I wouldn't be interested in playing that game. I feel like it's mind control. We need to be mindful of our actions.
-
Not really
-
No sounds like it could you send you to unfamiliar places and places that it should not be played. Saw on the news here it was sending kids into the cemetery and even churches
-
Not a chance, I don't waste my time on games.
-
i have seen the accidents all over the news, but i have no clue what the game is or requires that keeps people injuring themselves. So, no, i probably wont look into it. i don't have time for games anyway, and only occasionally play candy crush on my phone.
-
I did download it but I haven't actively looked yet. I do have to laugh at some people though. Not aware of their surroundings. I saw a video last night have this mob of people flooding central park to catch a pokemon.
-
I don't really understand what this game is all about...can someone explain?
-
I checked it out for my 7 year old. I know as soon as school starts that is what all the kids will be talking about. She does not have a phone so i downloaded it to her tablet. Didn't like what I saw and all the permissions you had to give them to have access to the game. I very quickly unloaded it.
So No.
-
No. I don't have time for it. Almost everyone I know is playing it though.
-
At first, I was interested in downloading the app. But after learning about the series of injuries and deaths that have occurred as a direct result of it, I think I am going to pass on this (highly lucrative) app.
-
Sorry but no I am not a game player besides my phone can't play games.
-
No thank you, they are a problem around here, they walk right out in front of you.
-
My friend and I were just talking about it the other night. It seems kind of fun, but I don't think I would personally play it. I don't really have time to play games like that.
-
I wouldn't myself, but I don't find anything wrong with it. I was at a museum today that had a lot of pokemon cards that kids were getting pictures of for their apps. Seemed very harmless, but I have heard of other stories on the news that weren't so harmless also.
-
Nope. I watched my son playing it and showing me different landmarks and the streets. He is excited about it and telling his friends to download it. That game uses your battery up because the GPS is always running. I will stick to regular games like puzzles, word, brain etc.
-
Um, I'm not afraid to admit that I do have this game and play it! I am 30 years old, and Pokémon was my youth, so I have no shame in playing this game. It's actually a pretty cool game and I'm sure if you gave it a chance, you just might find you enjoy it!
-
No, it is of no interest to me.
-
I have no interest. But I have a "Pokestop" nearby so last night I saw tons of teens heading towards it.
-
I already play Pokémon Go. It is fun and it does get you up and moving around looking for the pokemons and trying to catch them.
-
I will not but my daughters and their boyfriends do and it is funny how the drop everything including my grandson on me, to go catch the latest pokemon doll. Yesterday my daughter was cooking and out of the blue she was gone to catch something and left me with baby and cooking LOL
-
Yeah, if I had a smartphone, but I probably won't be able to "catch em all" because I'd refused to play it out in public.
-
No. This is stupid and is causing more accidents than texting and driving or walking. I did not realize it was suppose to get people up off the couch and walking.
-
I'm not interested in this either. Nor do I have a phone it would be compatible with. I have seen people playing it out at a public park. I had to giggle. Kids were playing on playground equipment and adults were running around all over the place.
-
I tried once but it wasn't compatible with my phone.
-
other than getting up and going out, how else are you going to catch em all. I would but I'm not playing it.
-
Since it is starting to become so popular part of me wants to try it just to see what the hype is about but I am pretty sure I won't try it. It looks like a lot of fun for kids and teens.
-
I don't personally play it but I do go out with my son to find these different characters. It's a good way to see different things that you normally wouldn't notice.
-
Pokemon go is awesome!!!
-
I would play but my device isnt compatible with it which completely sucks and i totally hate the fact that im not apart of something so big! >:( its like a movement and because of my device being outdated i cant be apart of the movement sigh... #THESTRUGGLEISREAL
-
Maybe, but lol, I saw a story where it lead this man to a police station, where he had a warrant.
-
I've been playing it somewhat casually. It's pretty fun, a breath of fresh air. It appeals to those that enjoy a kind of scavenger hunt type of adventure.
-
No, but the only game I play, and it is only occasionally, is candy crush. I dont have time for gaming really. I have seen a lot of publicity (good and bad) on Pokemon Go, but dont know much about it.
-
No, it's silly, and it's crazy to watch everyone be consumed by it!
-
I think that this game is a form of cult...I will pass on this type of game..........
-
I dont know, but I might check the game out to see how I like and feel about it.
-
Yeah, it gets you off the sofa, but you are focused on your phone....not watching traffic, disrespecting places like cemetaries etc.
I agree wth the person suggesting it sounds like mind control. If nothing else, it gets addictive. What happened to going to a park, riding a bike, having a picnic with the family. etc.....or reading a book.
It is scarey. :rose:
-
No, I've hard enough time keeping my face out my cell's screen or texting. It's kind of dangerous,I've heard people being lead into bad neighborhoods, getting shot at as u drive by someone's house where the owner's freaked out of being robbed. It's just as bad as when GPS was the new thing in which some first time user drove their car into a brick wall which was once an old tunnel closed up.
-
Not me, my children enjoy playing this game.
-
I haven't played but it looks like fun
-
No it is a stupid game for kids and lazy people. When it comes to games I am a pro Scrabble player and would rather spend my time studying and practicing getting better at it. There have been reports of people getting hurt and in trouble with it so it appears it has some negative consequences for just a game. 8)
-
I am still thinking about it. If my son want to I will join him.
-
It sound fun, but no time to play at all.
-
My kids just started, and are enjoying it But there was a news story this morning about a group of teens being held up in an armed robbery near here, so I'm wondering about the safety. On the one hand, no game should cause people to lose caution, but on the other, it is sad when it becomes dangerous to basically walk around your community.
-
No, I am not into games enough to really have an interest in that game, and i have heard that some people playing in public have put themselves in harms way being so into the game, so not for me unless i just happen to be sitting in my house but not out in public, I like to keep aware of my surroundings and it seems like a big distraction.
-
I do play iot and i play it with my teenagers it gets them out of teh house and yes there is alot of walking it can be a great app for fitness.
-
I don't even like Pokemon, so I'm not interested. It's getting people active though, so that's good.
-
I played Pokemon Go for like a week and then quit. The game isn't that special once you've played it for a while.
-
I don't think you could pay me to play Pokemon Go; however, I like the fact that it combines mental with physical. A lot of people who are playing get out and WALK. That part of the game is truly inspired.
-
Yes...i downloaded the game and was ready to play....but I live in the country and I don't drive...so no poki-s for me.
-
I wouldn't download and play Pokemon Go. It doesn't interest me. Several friends I know who have played say it takes a lot of data from your cell phone plan as well as battery.
-
No; I have zero interest in playing....
-
no...it sounds completely stupid to me
-
my son plays it, and my husband. I don't play but I do keep ending up driving my son around so he wont play and drive (he swears he wouldn't anyway)...but really have no urge to play it myself
-
I do understand why people say they think it's a good thing because it gets people off their butt, but let's be honest...they don't have people's health in mind. It's all about money! And no, I will not be playing it.
-
As of right now no have no plans to play it.
-
i tried it,,kinda boring i think,,,,,,,,,,
-
Nah... I'd rather make extra cash in my spare time!
-
Heck NO!
-
I would never play that game. people do crazy stuff playing that
-
I would happily play it except for the fact this Pokemon selection is too limited for my tastes.
-
work two jobs so no tiem
-
Nope my thing. I would rather do fusion cash. We in this small town have already had some near misses with kids walking right out in front of cars. Another guy walked right off the curb and broke his ankle. So too me i think it takes up too much of your time, and if a person is not working they should be. talking about those who are able to work and should be working instead of playing a game
-
no interest and it seems very dangerous according to the accidents shown on tv
-
I recently uninstalled Pokemon Go after giving it a fair try of about two weeks. It is an interesting app, and certainly innovative. I also like that they're continuing to develop it to increase collaboration. It doesn't interest me any longer, however. It was a "fad" app, for me. I do recognize it can offer many benefits, such as encouraging physical activity.
