I am on a few different places that don't offer paychecks. However they offer gift cards so I usually opt for those choices. Sometimes I get necessities with those gift cards depending on the place I opt for. It's a little frustrating that the places don't offer paychecks. I'm still enjoying the work they have though, I just try to be wise about how I spend the gift card. One place has started offering virtual card like a debit card but only for online stores so I think I will start choosing that, since that might be a better option. Your thoughts?

I would rather paycheck, but gift cards are ok like the Visa gift card which you can use anywhere.

No i do not think so, because gift cares in a way limit the things that you spend the money on and its not that easy keeping track of the money in a gift card as it is when u have cash or money in a debit or credit card you can just make a call and find out the balance in you're account but you can not really do that with many gift cards. I would rather get my paycheck any day over any gift card. Even though there are cards that benefit you but it is hard to get a hold of those.

gift cards are I guess are the next best thing to a paycheck. However the truth be known I still prefer cold hard cash. :rainbow: :rose: :wave:

I would rather have a paycheck, give me a bigger choice, you cannot pay a lot of your bills with a gift card.

First choice: Paycheck. Why? Because you earn social security credits and later you can receive unemployment benefits.
Second choice: Gift cards. They are excellent benefits because you do not have to wait for a paycheck...and you can buy necessities immediately.

I've had sites that offer gift cards, I usually only take Amazon gift cards. Nevertheless I'm not into gift cards as payments, I use my payments for various reasons besides shopping.

I'd rather have a paycheck and if not, then a prepaid cash card would be my second option. Gift cards are nice too, but not as desirable.

A gift card can't cover your heating bill. Though I wouldn't turn out gift cards for places I go to often.

Whilst gift cards are sometimes doable, I have a strong preference for checks. Once paid into your bank account, you can spend a check at any store you wish using a debit card, you can save your cash or even chose to transfer the money to pay off another credit card. However with many gift cards, you are told which store the card must be spent at (Lowes, Starbucks etc). I appreciate that you can spend a VISA credit card almost anywhere, but who's to say how much money you have left on your credit card. I also appreciate if you opt for a VISA card, you are more likely to receive it more quickly, but some of them make charges for certain things. I will always opt for cash!

I like visa and master card gift cards that do not have fees. I can buy anything I want and at just about any store.

For my real job, of course I prefer a paycheck. But online, I prefer Amazon cards. With the places that don't pay with gift cards, I'll take the check or Paypal money and buy Amazon cards with it. Right now I'm saving up for an expensive camera on Amazon, so I'll take all the gift cards I can get.

I prefer cash to a gift card because you never know when the company will go out of business. If I get a gift card, I usually try spend all of it ASAP.

i had trouble getting credit for a gift card so i prefer payment to paypal

money is nice but a gift card is great too so at least this way you do get paid. I have a lot save up in Amazon for that reason

So far I've enjoyed checks, paypal direct deposits and amazon codes. I have used a few gift cards for gas stations and wal-mart here and there. I've gotten to where I have a specific place to put each little bit of earned rewards so stick with certain sites for specific rewards. My husband tried the visa e-card. He was hoping to pay a bill with it...didn't realize until after he'd redeemed it was only good at some retailers.

I think they are both great ways to get pay outs. I prefer to get a payment through paypal and then I will transfer to my back account. If this weren't an opinion I would chose the gift card option. I personally prefer to have the money in my account to use as I choose.

I like Amazon gift cards because I shop there often. Not too crazy for the Visa or other cards like that because as you spend, the balance gets lower and there's always a small balance left on those cards that I never get to use up. When you add those "balances" up, I feel like I got cheated. I'd much prefer a check because I like to have some kind of cash on hand, but you're right, not a lot of places give us that option and some places that do give the option take FOREVER to get that check to you. I've dropped out of places such as these because the wait time for your check is absolutely ridiculous and you get to the point where you have to write to them and ask them what's going on. Yeah, it's THAT bad.

I prefer to get paid in cash but if the site only offers gift cards and is a good site to earn on gift cards for places that I shop or visa/MC cards are the next best thing.

I would rather prefer my paycheck. I can buy the things I want with that instead of being tied to aa gift card you can only use in one place.

I don't think so. I think check would be the best, so you can spend anywhere. Usually gift card only can spend what ever store not use for all. But if there was an option that you can spend anywhere you want, then that will be a different story.

Paychecks will always be better than gift cards. But yes, they're probably the next best thing. However, they do limit the goods and services at your disposal. And most people don't like that.

They are nice but nothing spends better than cash.

I like both. I like getting that deposit to my PayPal account around the twentieth of the month from FC, but I also get excited about cashing out points or whatever for a gift card. If I'm getting more than +/- $25 in a payout, I prefer cash.

I would choose check but if the gift card if for something I would use then I would go for that as well.

I don't think so.. Having a check or direct deposit to your bank account is mostly used and pay for things like rent, food, etc.. Also you could probably find discounts buying giftcards online.. Other than that I remember prepaid visa cards take some portion due to transactions or something.. I would rather use cryptocurrency if the store accepts them

I don't mind the gift card because it doesn't count has money. If you get a check that does.

I don't really like gift cards... unless they are for a website that you would use anyway, it is just a way to end up spending more... You have a gift card, you don't want to trash it, so you are forced to use it and maybe it's for a store that you would never think of otherwise.
I definitely prefer paycheck... and gift cards, I would only accept Amazon's.

I would rather have the Paycheck then Gift cards for some places I don't even go to.

I have not bothered with several survey sites that have not offered the option of cash. I think that gift cards are too limiting and these sites already take enough of my time and effort to not have cash in hand at the end of the day.

Actually no, no one is going to give you a gift card that costs as much as a paycheck. But then again if someone is wealthy, bring it on.

The sites that I am on that are like that all offer 'gift cards' to paypal. Same as cash so that's what I go for. Plus I see 'paychecks' as a recurring thing as opposed to the little extra we make on sites like this.

Gift cards are so pointless. Why give somebody money that they can only spend at one place.

I prefer the check or paypal also. But also do some with gift cards but watch which they offer first. I usually try and give them out as gifts especially since my kids don't like me shopping for them.

I use a couple sites like Fusion Cash and the gift cards are a life saver! I usually net around $200 or more a month and redeem Walmart gift cards so I pay $0 a month for food!

I have found that the virtual cards that some sites use do work but you have to go through a whole annoying process to use them. The last one I got was a virtual Visa card which I tried to use to buy clothes over the phone at Lands
End. Lands End did take the card but I had to wait on the phone for a special billing person to handle the transaction as that was not one of their usual forms of payment. Gift cards are a lot easier to deal with in my opinion.

A gift card to me IS as good because then you aren't paying any taxes!!!

gift cards are convenient.
there is no dissatisfaction for the person you are giving to.
it protects the consumer from fraud on credit and debit cards.

i try to get paypal or amazon cards...paypal i transfer into my bank acct and amazon i use for things i need..so it balances out

I enjoy getting a check ... but gift cards are not that bad
