Title: What's with PTC?
Post by: Cbsteffen on August 11, 2016, 08:33:16 pm
I had a defect with Paid to Click. There is no code. It's not visible, and I hear nothing with the audio option.

It just occurred to me, I wonder if it's because I use Linux instead of Windows that I don't get these kind of problems?

I am sure,  I suspected that the first time I saw you mention it. As much as using different browsers effect the function of certain things on here, surely OS would be a great difference (I have wondered about Mac users) .  I am sure there are even differences even between Windows 7, 8 & 10.

Browsers shouldn't have to be so unique. Stay away from Internet Explorer. That browser doesn't detect harmful files or viruses, but Google Chrome does, and maybe Firefox does as well.

I would not depend on a browser to stop harmful files. You need anti-virus and anti-malware for that, unless you run Linux instead of Windows. It's the OS that needs to be protected.

It was just that one day/night. Something that was supposed to bring on the code somehow got disconnected.

Paid to click has always worked fine for me. You could just be having browser issues or there could be something you downloaded forgot about and is effecting things on your browser which do happen at times
