Let's say you goto the doctor and he diagnoses you with a form of terminal cancer and it is not treatable and you only have 6 month's to live how would you live your life? How would you feel knowing your going to be absent from your family's life forever. What would you do?

I would go to a lawyer and have a final will drawn up. Then I would give each and every family member a list of end-of-life instructions like whether I would like my organs to be donated, if I wanted to be buried or cremated and things like that. Then I would try to live out the 6 months doing whatever I wanted to accomplish in life before death like if there was someplace on earth I wanted to travel to or something I would like to try just once like jump out of an airplane with a parachute or something like that. I would also eat anything I wanted without worrying about gaining weight.

I have my will and everything else already drawn up. No i am not sick i just want it that way, But if i should get the dreaded big "C" i would not have chemo. My mother did not have it either. I made sure she got to go to one more family reunion. I called one of my uncles and told only him what was going on and ask if he and my aunt would have it. Although most of them figured it out but never said anything to her. She had a ball. Then as she was getting closer each one came to see her and i picked them up and took them all back to the airport. They only came one at a time as not to tire her out too much.
Me i would just want to do whatever i wanted and see certain members of my family. My son has already passed with it and he tried so hard for his family.

i would get my affairs in order and spend as much time with my family and friends and tell them how precious they are to me and also i love them i would pray a lot and see if there was any thing i could to make it easy on my loved ones

Seriously, having cancer myself and going through surgery, chemo, and radiation and still taking oral chemo I pray to God I don't have to think about this for many years.

I really don't know what I would do. have all my affairs in order so no one would have to do it. Enjoy every last day I was alive :)

my farther died of cancer. he didn't get a chance to do everything he had planned before he died. if i had cancer i would get my affairs in order then do everything that i have planned in my future

I would research to do everything; within my power, to beat it. Even if medical professionals SAY you only have 6 months to live....
that doesn't mean they know what they're talking about. I've been using alternative medicine for over 30 years to improve my health so I don't allow medical people to dictate my future.

Yeah, there are lots of other methods in which others have cured their cancer. It would probably take $, but I'd take all the vitamins, herbal supplements and nutritious food I could get my hands on!

I would go to the ends of the earth to beat it. And while I was beating it, I would liquidate my assets and disperse them to my family just in case I didn't prevail. I would make sure I spent time with everyone I have ever loved. And I would pray unceasingly.

My husbands mom died of cancer. We watched her get weaker and weaker by the days, she was so faithful & said god would bring her home when it was time.
I have already talked to my husband & kids about this. If it came down to me having a limited time on earth my moment to go will be in my own hands. I do not want my family to watch me go as we did with his mother. I loved her so much but I am not waiting for someone to open gates for me. I don't want my family to watch me suffer & be a burden on their lives & a huge cost on my family.

Get a will drawn up, spend my liquid assets on friends, family and charity and travel as much as I can.

Spend as much time with friends and family as I could. Do things I hadn't had the chance to do before, like travel, go to more concerts, spend time at the beach, etc. Any money I had I'd pass on to loved ones and donate the rest of it. Just try to cram as much living into those last six months as I could. :rainbow: :peace: :star:

Sell everything I own and move to a place where cannabis oil is legal.

I believe in mortality. Even if you turn to ashes...your spirit will come back. So do not be so pessimistic.

I would make sure that all my affairs were in order: burial plans, wills, music/pictures to be played/displayed at my funeral, etcetera. I would write a bunch of letters to be sent every year for five years after I was gone letting my family know how much I love them. I would spend every second of three months doing things with my family: big vacation, board games, hiking, dinner together every weekend and gather as many photos as I could and put them on a hard drive. I would then disappear. I would take off for parts unknown. I do not want my family to remember me as anything but happy, healthy and full of love. I would have post cards sent from my last location ten days after I had left. I would then arrange for my last postcard to be sent the day that I died so that the family could have closure.

I'd travel as much as I can. I'd throw a big party with all my loved ones so I could thank them and say good bye.

I would probably be selling and donating everything I have that is of any value. Then, any money I got, I would go jump out of a perfectly good plane!! LOL! Yeah, not going in depth there. :P

It's hard to say what you would do, I would cry then ask the Lord to heal me, if that is his will and then the rest of the stuff people stated.

the posibility of this scares me! I handle pain so poorly. I would probably skip chemo as i have no reason to prolong the time. If i ever got over the fear i would probably spend my last days in some form of service if able

My mother passed away from Breast Cancer. It was horrible seeing her suffer like she did. Treasure every moment you have on this earth.

Buddhists believe you ought to live as if every day were your last... Make the most of your last days... God put us here for a purpose.

Make the most of each day until I am gone. I tried and do this right now because you never know. I think more people should think that way.
