Title: Do you eat Pickles?
Post by: snuggleycutejc on November 14, 2016, 11:24:09 am: There are so many kinds of pickles out there in shoppingland. What kind of pickles do you enjoy the most? For me, I like mild sweet to dill, not the hot ones. I just tasted the tiniest pickles ever. I have tasted the largest pickles many years ago. Actually, the tiny and the large pickle, the consistency of the veg (soft) was the same. lol they had the field workers to pick cucumbers when they first formed on the vine. I love to buy the pickles that are in the large jars, useful to me. I enjoy the pickles that are sliced for sandwiches, they fit. Have a gr8 day! :present:

Post by: vickysue on November 14, 2016, 02:12:42 pm: I myself am not a big pickle fan, although i do use some sweet pickle in salads, and i also use a small bit making tartar sauce, now hubby on the other hand likes picks a lot. My problem is the smell and taste vinegar. It takes my breath away, so i do have to be careful when i am making pickles and not have my face right over the mixture, of if i am cleaning the coffee pot to go into another room while it is cleaning. I have tried to use the nature cleaning products useing it but it is just too much. But sometimes hubby will do some while i am outside.

Post by: debidoo on November 17, 2016, 08:02:50 am: I like pickles but anymore all the pickles you buy have hfcs in them which I am trying to avoid like the plague. I found one brand that didn't contain corn syrup but they have a distinct flavor and it limits you to that one kind. Oh well my brother- in -law absolutely loves pickles so much that I have actually given him a huge jar as a present lol.

I have a sensitive stomach which won't let me to indulge in any 'unnaturally mixed' type of altered food but if it's dill, I'll eat it.

Post by: taj75657 on December 03, 2016, 08:56:32 am: Yes yes yes, the big jar is so inviting. Aside from the wow factor of the big jar, Claussen pickles are my favorite. I usually make myself sick eating through jars of those big juicy, crunchy, perfectly pickled cucumbers :silly:
