I just got DQ'd for a mobile phone service survey when the question asked what mobile phone provider I used just prior to my current one. Alltel was not listed among the choices, so I picked "OTHER" and typed that into the box. I got an error and it told me in red letters: "Please enter a valid NZ postal code." ?!? Obviously the entry field was restricted somehow - I assume the survey code was cut and pasted from another hidden field where the subject was from New Zealand.
Since it would not accept my "Alltel" input, I instead picked the "I don't know/I don't remember" response and I was promptly DQ'd. I can't say whether I would've been DQ'd anyway, but that $4.00 15 minute survey looked like a sweet deal had I been able to complete it. (That is assuming the survey non-payment glitch on FC has been worked out)...

I got DQ'd from that one too and I had Tmobile before. They must be looking for something real specific.

I have not had that survey on my list. If I get it, I will try it out and see what they tell me. :monkey:

Some surveys just have glitches in them or as you suggested, they may not be written well / correctly. That is not just a problem with FC but it has happened on all my sites.
I work in Market Research. I screen respondents over the phone for focus groups. Our clients write the screeners and there are often problems with the way the screeners read but because I am on the phone with the respondent, I can usually assist the respondent and later make notes.
That is not an option with computers.

I recently had a survey with the same glitch but no matter what reply I gave, it would come back telling me to provide an answer, so I had to stop it and it was worth about $5... not FC's fault and nothing we can do about it but to move on and do other legit surveys

I get screened out many a times, and it would say sorry we have reached enough respondants.

I have received the disqualification at times and sorry we have reached enough respondants. The quota has succeed.
