Do you take vacation time from work in January? I do not think I have taken time off
In Jan to go on vacation.
-
No.
I take vacation time around everyone's school schedules.
I'd love to take vacations in January. When I was in college I had almost the entire month of January off for break between semesters... good times :)
-
It's too cold for me to leave in January for vacation. I like to visit warm places, no traveling for me for a long time.
-
Most people I know, take off in December, Jan is more like, there is no money after the Christmas spending....
-
I don't in January but I always do in July because that is when my husband gets his vacation time. We usually go to Florida but might go somewhere different this year.
-
I've been off all this month. Dreading going back to work on the 5th. I have some extra days off but I will pick up an extra trip.
-
I don't think of any vacation lately. But I want to have one. :)
-
I will do vacation on March.
-
January is the month I actually need to start looking for work that I can do! Haha. Right now I only make money from survey sites and a small online shop I have where I make jewelry and list things I don't have room for anymore. :)
-
I don't take a vacation in January. I haven't taken a vacation in 5+ years. Next year is a milestone anniversary, so my husband and I will do something in July.
-
I like taking vacations in the summer time, when it's hot. If I were going to a warm spot, then I'm definitely consider going on vacation in January.
-
It is too cold for traveling this time of the year. Risky too! Unless you are visiting a warmer place, it is not worthy.
-
My vacations vary on WHEN I take them but I don't typically take a vacation in January, but I know I usually need it after the holiday!
-
Generally speaking, I do not. I remember one year when my family could not get together before the holidays so we got together in January. We stayed with my sister for a few days. It was fun.
-
Vacation??? Well you are one of the lucky ones I guess who can take and afford a "vacation"! Good for you!
-
i cant take vacation in january since i am still trying to close the end of the year for my company

Not usually, but we wanted to visit our daughter for Christmas who moved to Florida a year ago. My wife wasn't able to get the work week between Christmas and New Year off, so we left on New Years Eve and went by train from Ohio to Orlando. Spent a day at Universal with our daughter and a friend, then drove down to her area in West Palm Beach for a few days. We finished it off with two more days at Universal in Orlando. We left Orlando at 8:00 this morning with temperatures in the mid 70's. We flew in to Pittsburgh and 4 degrees, then drove several more hours back home. Talk about temperature shock!
LOTS of Steeler and Dolphin fans on that flight!
Had we stayed in West Palm Beach, we likely would have flown out of Fort Lauderdale. Thankfully we had plans already in place to go to Orlando and fly from there. Security was STILL a no-nonsense big production by the TSA agents.

I would love to go somewhere warm...lol...though I guess I can't complain because I just came back from Hawaii....
-
good to get away from snow
-
No I usually dont take vacations in January. I usually take them in December or during the year if family has something planned.
-
I just got back from a cruise which was the first week of January. I enjoy a warm spot during the winter months and then I come back and hibernate until spring.
-
Best time to go away and cheapest I think
-
I take my vacation time around Christmas and still have vacation time left for after-Christmas shopping & New Years Eve/New Years Day off, and I LOVE it. Will repeat it again this year for sure.
-
No I do not take vacation in January, but would like to take some time off in the near future.
-
I think it is best time to take vacation in January since it is slow month.
-
No, I never have.
-
I take a couple weeks off but usually stay home.
-
Nope, I don't take vacation in January. Typically I wait until summer to start my vacation days! Normally around April I start to feel the mental need to take a break from work. ::)
-
I don't, it's too cold for that!
-
Right now there is no time for a vacation. Between newborn grandbaby (lives at our house with our daughter) and 2 year old grandson, work, and helping out my parents, there isn't time to think about a vacation.

I usually go on vacation in September.
