No.
I take vacation time around everyone's school schedules.
I'd love to take vacations in January.  When I was in college I had almost the entire month of January off for break between semesters... good times :)

It's too cold for me to leave in January for vacation.  I like to visit warm places, no traveling for me for a long time.

Most people I know, take off in December, Jan is more like, there is no money after the Christmas spending....

I don't in January but I always do in July because that is when my husband gets his vacation time. We usually go to Florida but might go somewhere different this year.

I've been off all this month. Dreading going back to work on the 5th.  I have some extra days off but I will pick up an extra trip.

January is the month I actually need to start looking for work that I can do! Haha. Right now I only make money from survey sites and a small online shop I have where I make jewelry and list things I don't have room for anymore.  :)

I don't take a vacation in January. I haven't taken a vacation in 5+ years. Next year is a milestone anniversary, so my husband and I will do something in July.

I like taking vacations in the summer time, when it's hot. If I were going to a warm spot, then I'm definitely consider going on vacation in January.

It is too cold for traveling this time of the year. Risky too! Unless you are visiting a warmer place, it is not worthy.

My vacations vary on WHEN I take them but I don't typically take a vacation in January, but I know I usually need it after the holiday!

Generally speaking, I  do not. I remember one year when my family could not get together before the holidays so we got together in January. We stayed with my sister for a few days. It was fun.

Not usually, but we wanted to visit our daughter for Christmas who moved to Florida a year ago.  My wife wasn't able to get the work week between Christmas and New Year off, so we left on New Years Eve and went by train from Ohio to Orlando. Spent a day at Universal with our daughter and a friend, then drove down to her area in West Palm Beach for a few days. We finished it off with two more days at Universal in Orlando.  We left Orlando at 8:00 this morning with temperatures in the mid 70's. We flew in to Pittsburgh and 4 degrees, then drove several more hours back home.  Talk about temperature shock!

LOTS of Steeler and Dolphin fans on that flight!

Had we stayed in West Palm Beach, we likely would have flown out of Fort Lauderdale. Thankfully we had plans already in place to go to Orlando and fly from there.  Security was STILL a no-nonsense big production by the TSA agents.

I just got back from a cruise which was the first week of January.  I enjoy a warm spot during the winter months and then I come back and hibernate until spring.

I take my vacation time around Christmas and still have vacation time left for after-Christmas shopping & New Years Eve/New Years Day off, and I LOVE it.  Will repeat it again this year for sure.

Nope, I don't take vacation in January. Typically I wait until summer to start my vacation days! Normally around April I start to feel the mental need to take a break from work.   ::)

Right now there is no time for a vacation.  Between newborn grandbaby (lives at our house with our daughter) and 2 year old grandson, work, and helping out my parents, there isn't time to think about a vacation.
